according to the first part of the video by adam curtis, an experiment was made without instructions or social hierarchy. a game of pong was played by a room full of people and everyone had a paddle, but needed to use them just so, to play the game of pong on a giant screen.  the whole documenary wa about how machines affect our population.  this also reflects on the statement made by sarkozy.
