ALERT! - THIS JU
2 MAY 2010-WWCR and sister station WNQM are OFF-AIR due to power outage and flooding. Nashville, Tennessee is recovering from 18 inches of rainfall in 2 days. We appreciate your patience and request your prayers for employees and friends of these stations, many of whom have suffered tremendous personal loss. Further details will be posted here as they become available.
UPDATE : May 5, 2010 : I did not receive Alex Jones on 12.160 MHz using my Grundig G8 receiver for 2 days so far. I don't know if WWCR went off air permanantly or they are having an issue with their transmitter. I will check for the updates.
UPDATE: July 11, 2010: Alex Jones can be heard on the new frequency on Sundays on 9350 kHz. Be sure to add this frequency to your WWCR
presets. More coming soon.
UPDATE: December 27, 2010, Today we had a real bad snow storm that hit the Eastern part of the United States. I would recommend that you take time off and plug and power up your shortwave radio to hear the weather reports on SSB (frequencies will be available soon) and Ham radio conversations in the 160, 80, and 40 meter bands. Also hear some broadcasters such as Radio Havana Cuba, Radio China International, and other stations in the 49 meter band. This storm is going away, but there will be more ahead soon. And Happy New Year!

everyone should have a receiver @ least, of course the "real" dirt will be heavily encrypted, but these freq's will @ least give one a head's up if the chatter gets heavy, and now a days w/ the rampant incompetence in the system, who knows, somebody may start blowing the whistle on air ;)

Big hug. Thanks for letting me join up.
The RF problems I'm dealing with in my RV are to the point of thinking about going over to an FTA dish connected to a portable flat screen TV. I would welcome any portable antenna ideas that would allow me to have my SWR on a shelf in my RV home-office.
Any SWR full time RV'ers out here.
Hi thank you im a stoopid newbie forgive me
