As for agenda, I was first turned on to the idea of virtual communities when I saw that major law schools were having meetings using them. But agendas are complicated. I also noticed CDC using second life type virtual worlds to practice mass forced inoculation in case of pandemic.

These are the kind of things they think they can use this stuff for, training clinicians to do mass vaccinations. Their "patients" aren't bots, they are players in second life, earning their digital dollars to help "educate" the "professionals".
