Sea alert: Russian warships head for Syria

Moscow is deploying warships at its base in the Syrian port of Tartus. The long-planned mission comes, providentially, at the very moment when it could help prevent a potential conflict in the strategically important Middle Eastern country.

The Russian battle group will consist of three vessels led by the heavy aircraft-carrying missile cruiser, Admiral Kuznetsov.

And as people use up more and more natural ressources we'll see much more of these hostile corporate takeovers in the future. BREAKING: Military Confrontation between Washington and Moscow? Rus...

Moscow is deploying warships at its base in the Syrian port of Tartus. The long-planned mission comes, providentially, at the very moment when it could help prevent a potential conflict in the strategically important Middle Eastern country.

News of Russia’s naval deployment in Tartus came shortly after the US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush anchored off Syria, along with additional naval vessels. The US battle group is to remain in the Mediterranean, allegedly to conduct maritime security operations and support missions as part of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn. The US 6th Fleet is also patrolling the area, Interfax reports.

my  God  the  french love  north  african blood  1.5 million algerians  were not enough  for them--syria  is a rehearsal  perhaps for Iran  but  I do not think the  russians  would tolerate  it  Bobby  Seale  used to  say "Stalin  was like a  brother on the  block"  If  Russia  was that USSR   this  would not be happening--it  was  the  fall of  the  Soviets in  1989  that  cleared the way for  this I  don't  trust this  guy Putin  --and while this is  going on  fyi  occupy  boston is  blasting  away  at that "dictator  Assad --why  don't they go to  New Haven or Hartford  --totally  clueless

Merely tracking the developments. Not to mention all of the rogue nations that have yet to coalesce under the nwo banner. Either way, they will be subject to soft coup campaigns or overt military aggressions.

  • Maria De Wind

... and I thought Rogue Nations were those already under the NWO banner not those still  independent !

  • Cryptocurrency

Nope. E.g NATO is 28 countries. NATO = NWO.

    Rogue nations include:

Iran, N.Korea, Syria, Lebanon, Libya (was), Somalia, Sudan, Venezuela etc.

I know that covert ops have been very active in Iran lately and I'm guessing they were active in Syria. I believe 12 CIA connected people got captured last month in Syria so it's anyones guess how effective the shadow games in Syria are today. I like to believe our military here in the USA has done some war games and figured that economically a new war is very stupid for countless reasons. I have no problem with covert ops going after Iran and Syria as long as they don't start a hot war.

Bullets & bombs 'humanitarian assistance' to help Syria?

In Syria, violence intensifies as clashes between government forces and army defectors spread. This Sunday, 23 people have reportedly been killed in battles in the south of the country, and new fights have erupted in the northwest. To discuss the ongoing violence in Syria, RT joined live from Beirut by Dr. Rania Masri who's a professor at the University of Balamand.

the City of London is smelling particularly foul. The U.S. has no need nor financial obligation to them. The debt is phony. The money is phony. Obama is a placebo president with a cyanide pill contained within. The illuminati just want to kill as many people as possible in the middle east, where the oil is, and wherever economic competition may be found. who needs the illuminati? Nobody. Crooked politicians may be far in debt to them. We do noit need these politicians.

People  need  some history  1)  Joseph  Stalin  is  a  key figure  in the American  civil rights  movement--the evidence  is on line 2) almost  everything  america  says  is  a  lie--evil Gaddaffi (ask Mandela)  Assad ---this has been planned  since  at least  200s  possibly  earlier  3)  The  fall of the  Soviet  Union  has made this  all possible--as well  as  the defeat  of Arthur  Scargill  and the miners in 1984  which  eviscerated  an already  weak  Labour party  and turned it into an new  jr. partner  to the US  --so now they had  two  Israel and UK  now France  which  drowns in North  African  Blood  is  chomping  at the bit. I have  a  question why not  Save  Detroit? dismantle the prison system--because   I  believe this will help  Syria  Iran  Venezuala --damn   well help that the  reds  retake  power in Russia--and I don't mean sissy  ones!! how  do  you think Milosovitch  Abu   Amar  and for that  matter   Paul  Robeson--I  saw an  article  in The  Griot  that texting  might  be  good  for the black community--apart  from the  fact  it dumbs you down it  is made on the  blood  0f 5.4-8 million  Congolese --why  do I  see  defend  Palestine  when I come  to pages on this site?  No  sane  person  denies  the  atrocities  Israel  has committed  but  where  are the flotillas  to New Haven? When  will  Palestine  denounce  the continuing  slaughter  of  Black people  in Africa and here  and when  will the Cosby  crap stop?  Clean ourselves  up?  the metropolis  controls  africa   and  the  "white" (  a  increasingly useless  term--since  Chinese  Americans  Latinos etc)   controls  the  economic and  social  arrangements  of the black community--I  am not making a  racial argument--in  fact  I  have had to learn what I know  from  committed  whites--but until  the black community  here is liberated--or  until  Stalin  comes back to life (see  comintern  documents 1928-30) The periphery   will continue  to be slaughtered  This  all started with Clinton's  bombing of Bosnia--so as Mrs Hamer  said  lets  turn the statue of liberty  around  so it  faces  America  like a mirror. And  lose the  women's movement!! (see  Chester Himes  article 1973) Personally  all that is left  is the CPUSA  (which Stalin  threatened to torch  if they  did  not  make  the liberation  of  Black people  priority  #1--Bobby  Seale  knew this  Huey  did  Mrs Hamer  did as well--I  am walking  down Mass  ave I see occupy  Harvard Yard--across the  street a  black women (a para medic  told me)  is dying  of aids--reStalinize the CPUSA  or  form   a real  new Panther party --I do not care who is in it  as long as they  work--writing  blogs about  syria  won't help  machines  do not  change  people--people  change people--open  the jails!! you want to help Syria  concentrate on thzt!!

    "People need some history"

People need to research and learn factual history as well as proper grammar, spelling and language skills to put forth legible arguments in the written form.

1)Joseph Stalin is a key figure in the American civil rights movement--the evidence is on line

Please provide links to evidence corroborating your statement

corroborating: Verb: Confirm or give support to (a statement, theory, or finding).

    2) almost everything america says is a lie--evil Gaddaffi (ask Mandela) Assad ---this has been planned since at least 200s possibly earlier

I am assuming that you mean that the plans for global domination have been in the works since the year 2000 or possibly earlier and that almost everything that the United States government and Main Stream Media states as truth is ,in fact outright lying to deceive those that are not aware or awake to the method in which they use propaganda. And if my assumption of what you are trying to say is correct, then you are correct. And this goes much further back than the year 2000 A.D. Propaganda dates back to the late 19th century. Research Edward Bernays

I could go on but hopefully I have made my point

  • robert alpert

i  was  writing in  some heat  so   i apologize for the  syntax-- I  have   some  evidence - in  fact the planning  was  earlier see http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=27786#.Tt...

As  for  Stalin's   role it is  admitted  grudgingly in  Parting  the  Waters and  an excellent  book Hammer  and Hoe by Prof.  Robin  Kelly --in brief  Stalin had the ear of  Harry Heywood and  I suspect  that is  interest in the national  question witch  dates  back to 1913  made him  quite  receptive --the  1928  and  1930  Comintern  documents are on line  and it  would  be  disingenuous to  claim  that  JVS   did  not  how shall I say "vet" them--there is  also a  criticism  of  the CPUSA   for what is  called  "White Chauvinism--with  a specific  example  cited--the  documents  say  #  1  priority  "Death  for  Negro   Lynchers" I will find the  Url's --more importantly  they led to the  formation  of  the CP  of Alabama  a forgotten  but heroic  institution. Prior  to these documents (and threats)  the CPUSA   had been  largely eastern  european.  http://www.marx2mao.com/Other/CR75.html (   have no links and in fact not much  use  for  the organization that printed them).  As for  your point about the history  of propaganda  you  are  quite correct--King Leopold  was a master  of it--but  I  am  talking about  something a bit  different--I call it historical mythologies--that is a phenomenon  we  observe  when what you call propaganda  penetrates so  deeply  that  no  amount  of  evidence  will  clarify or  at  least  complicate  a situation--it  will  be  dismissed  as  anecdote  e.g. the  role of  Mack Coad  in Spain or  the  funeral  of  Ralph Grey  after camp hill. Call  it  the Bosnia  syndrome if  you like---what it  amounts to  is  the  inability  to  reconsider or inability to  falsify.  Two  men  are in a house  and it is raining outside.  One says to the other  "look at that rain!" The other claims in it is sunny and  warm.  They both go outside and get  soaked. The fellow who claimed it  was  raining  argues  that he has demonstrated  his case.  The other  fellow simply  replies  "Oh!  but you  don't know what counts as rain" My guess is that  none of the evidence  cited  will  change your mind. I am familiar  with Bernays--and though he  touches on this  it is not  quite the  same.  Yes  I do accuse  the media  of  propaganda as you say--but  a historical narrative  is something  different--remember Leopold  got his  reputation  destroyed. Historical  narratives  are much more difficult  to  question  and almost impossible  to  expose  as  fictions

oh  I notice  some  spelling  errors  do forgive me  my hand  beat  up  a cops nightstick a  week ago at  an occupy  gathering

  • TommyD

Please excuse my lack of understanding.

I find it hard to follow your line of reasoning.

Are you promoting communism or are you denouncing it?

Are you saying that there needs to be a resurgence of the CPUSA or that it needs to fade away into the annuls of history?

Apart from the spelling and grammatical errors, the over all message of what you wish to convey appears jumbled and incoherent. I actually feel like I am losing IQ points just trying to understand what you wrote, much less what you are trying to say.

  • TommyD

"oh I notice some spelling errors do forgive me my hand beat up a cops nightstick a week ago at an occupy gathering"

I do hope that you punished that evil night stick....on the other hand(pun intended) there is a feature of most web browsers called "spell check". It actually underlines misspelled words in red and a user can right-click on the word for suggestion to correct the mistake.

  • robert alpert

ok  i play  there is no spell check on this machine.  I am arguing that there was a hidden civil rights movement---principally  the scu (cp)  of Alabama and that it was  a priority of the USSR . To answer your questions 1)  Personally  I would like to see an emergence  of a third period USSR or  The Black Panther  Party.  SNCC  or  an organization like it  with some modifications  would also be pleasant. I  was  trying give you some evidence  for the USSR's  role  in the  liberation movement in the  south and  yes  Communism  would be beer and skittles to me. I also  was trying  to distinguish  Bernays   work  from  a deeper  form  of  historical masking. We know  his  role in the Arbenz  affair just as  we know Leopold's role in Congo. I  was trying to distinguish that  from  what I  called historical  mythologies that  resist  falsification.  I am  sorry you cannot follow that--others  have--perhaps  you want to  check those i q  points.

  • TommyD

Ah, now we are getting somewhere. I am well aware of behind the scenes influences which guided the civil rights movement so this is not news to me.

Personally I would love to see a return to true free market principles rather than the crony capitalism(corporatism) that has infected every aspect of business. I do not, nor will I ever, support communism.

I am also much aware of the masking of history. The truth has been hidden from humanity for ages, it is nothing new. I have posted a few essays on regarding this very topic.

I believe in freedom of the individual. Communism spits in the face of the Bill of Rights. Of course, this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

  • robert alpert

true  free market --well  hayek  friedman Smith (often misread) I  was not  asking you  to support  communism--but   you might want  to have  a closer  look at the  bill of  rights--e.g.   The  first  amendment as you know  was  designed to  make  possible  the free  communication about about technology--we did not want another inquisition. Have you noticed btw  that the bill  of rights  and other  laws or amendments  ((the  14the  comes to mind)) are  interpreted  in ways  that  suit what I call in my unfree  dogmatic  fashion the  ruling class--I believe  segregated  schools are illegal  by law  did  they not say that in 1954?  Have  a look  see--There is a line  from  alice in wonderland  or is it through the looking  glass that  comes to mind  but  I  cannot  quote it  due to failing iq  points but  it is  well known--

  • TommyD

The Bill of Rights being amended to the Constitution was a concession made by the framers in order to get it ratified by the States. The BoR doesn't grant any rights, rather protects those that we are born with.

The First Amendment protects freedom of speech, religious preference(or lack thereof), press, protest and redress of grievances. Of course free communication about technology is included in free speech.

The BoR is intended to protect the People from the "ruling class" while many later amendments used legalize to trick people into voluntary servitude. (Read my blog entry titled, Sedition by Syntax).

Being as I have never read Alice in Wonderland nor Through the Looking Glass, I have no idea about the quote to which you are referring.

Concerning segregated schools...I never mentioned that so I have no idea why that was even brought up in this conversation.

Would you consider homeschooling a form of segregated schooling?
