Hmm, members are posting music vids in the video section on 12160 instead of posting them here. It makes me think that they are probably not even checking out this group and missing out on all the great posts and adds to the group. Tsk Tsk, what a shame :(
Thanks H :) And thank you to all members for keeping this group alive. You all rock!
It has been a crazy busy summer for me so I haven't had the time to spend here and also my True Sync Radio show had to be put on the back burner for awhile. But... that is going to change here soon. If the spirit moves me, I may sneak in an impromptu show before getting back on a regular schedule with it again. Stay tuned friends... the music revolution will commence once again ;) Rock on ~
It's all good Nikki... such is life. BTW... I'm going to be having a live True Sync Radio show on Tues the 24th at 6 pm central time. Please tune if you can. And eventually, we are trying to link up the Occupy Interviews with my True Sync Radio show, either having my show start if all off or vice versa. It will be cool if we can make it so! The only difference now is that my show will only be about a half hour. It'll be full of short, sweet and to the point truth and freedom rockers, thumpers and rollers ;)
Here's a funky Reggae band out of Appleton WI. The lead singer actually is from the Islands of Figi. I got to speak with him after a gig one night and the dude is totally awake to what is going on in the world today. They have quite a few politically/socially driven songs. I think I'm going to do a feature show on just them in the future. They're fooking awesome :)
Here's one of their songs of their latest album, "Oceania."
Man I love System of a Down, one of my favorite all time heavy bands. I so wish they were still together. The lyrics, melody and music in this song are so hauntingly beautiful and so true!
And something warm and soft just passed through here It took the precious things that I hold dearer
It rifled through the grey and disappeared
The creeping darkness makes the small hours clearer
Like a cancer scare In the dentist's chair
Sucking in the air
Wire across the stair
Kicking down the door
At your local store
With the world at war
Voices through the floor
Unexpected news
Wearing high heeled shoes
Blowing out the fuse
Paying all your dues
Deadwing lullaby
Like a fracture tied
It's a worthless lie
To the public eye
I don't take waifs and strays back home with me My bleeding heart does not extend to charity
Yes I'd have to say I like my privacy And did you know you're on closed circuit TV? So smile at me
And a dream you had Of your mum and dad
On a beach somewhere
And the poison air
With the cancer threat
In a cigarette
Deadwing lullaby
Find a place to hide
And from the yellow windows of the last train A spectre from the next life breathes his fog on the pane
I look with you into the speeding black rain
Afraid to touch someone, afraid to ask her for her name
And in the morning when I find I have lost you I throw a window open wide and step through
The next band I'm featuring on True Sync Radio. They're a modern day Pink Floyd but with a harder edge :)
I'm thinking of starting my own True Sync Radio website in the future... a site dedicated to nothing but true revolutionary music from yesterday, today and into the future. It will be dedicated to truth, love, peace, spirituality, freedom and all things anti-NWO... because the evil ones hate anything containing light.
It's just food for thought right now. I'm trying to figure out how to make it so.
Know this one's dedicated to the police dem you know liar Cause some of them is wicked and them good for nothing And dem love pick upon people And dem think der no right And I man come to show you dat Alright alright So we kick it up because you So we kick it up because you So we kick it up because you So we kick it up because you now we got to go One for the money and three for the show Warning for you and here's a warning for me No bodder test the beast it coulder end up nasty Stop you pon the street without a reason Search thru your pockets under suspicion Everybody in ya is a prime suspect Gone are the days where they serve and protect ya

Pre-chrous
Wasting your life no future bright dancing on your grave Living like a slave, someone should've said ...
Wake up dead in a plywood bed six feet from the rest of your life and when you couldn't see your own dependency
N.F.L., NICE FUCKIN' LIFE
The whole world is your playground Yet you can't find your niche Your only friends, it helps you through Helps you dig your daily ditch The bottom line can't touch you Cause you're above the rest But your little friend's the enemy And the bottom line is death
Pre-chorus CHORUS
You lived a life of excess GODDAMN shane it's such a waste Just one too many cookies From the batch no one should taste Yet his memory stills stays with us Cause watching him was fun Too bad things weren't different Who knows what he'd have done
This is the age of machinery, A mechanical nightmare, The wonderful world of technology, Napalm, hydrogen bombs, biological warfare,
This is the twentieth century, But too much aggravation It's the age of insanity, What has become of the green pleasant fields of Jerusalem.
Ain't got no ambition, I'm just disillusioned I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here. My mama said she can't understand me She can't see my motivation Just give me some security, I'm a paranoid schizoid product of the twentieth century.
You keep all your smart modern writers Give me William Shakespeare You keep all your smart modern painters I'll take Rembrandt, Titian, Da Vinci and Gainsborough,
Girl we gotta get out of here We gotta find a solution I'm a twentieth century man but I don't want to die here.
I was born in a welfare state Ruled by bureaucracy Controlled by civil servants And people dressed in grey Got no privacy, got no liberty Cos the twentieth century people Took it all away from me.
Don't wanna get myself shot down By some trigger happy policeman, Gotta keep a hold on my sanity I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna die here.
My mama says she can't understand me She can't see my motivation Ain't got no security, I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.
This is the twentieth century But too much aggravation This is the edge of insanity I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.

Kinks - 20th Century Man
Lyrics - Ray Davies
A mechanical nightmare,
The wonderful world of technology,
Napalm, hydrogen bombs, biological warfare,
This is the twentieth century,
But too much aggravation
It's the age of insanity,
What has become of the green pleasant fields of Jerusalem.
Ain't got no ambition, I'm just disillusioned
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.
My mama said she can't understand me
She can't see my motivation
Just give me some security,
I'm a paranoid schizoid product of the twentieth century.
You keep all your smart modern writers
Give me William Shakespeare
You keep all your smart modern painters
I'll take Rembrandt, Titian, Da Vinci and Gainsborough,
Girl we gotta get out of here
We gotta find a solution
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't want to die here.
I was born in a welfare state
Ruled by bureaucracy
Controlled by civil servants
And people dressed in grey
Got no privacy, got no liberty
Cos the twentieth century people
Took it all away from me.
Don't wanna get myself shot down
By some trigger happy policeman,
Gotta keep a hold on my sanity
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna die here.
My mama says she can't understand me
She can't see my motivation
Ain't got no security,
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.
This is the twentieth century
But too much aggravation
This is the edge of insanity
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.
