LOL,.. aMUSEing, I like it. Strangely enough it was only a single word in your post that inspired me rather than the actual sentence. You'll see shortly though.

Yep the Washington thing has always been really annoying having lived here my whole life. You have no idea how many times I've seen a story that starts "July 27th, Washington", and I think "oh a local story" then read a paragraph or two before figuring out that their talking about D.C. Even after 43 years here, they still get me with that one.

    hello tara

I have always thought through out my life that America looked like Turkey. Clearly you can see New England as a Head and Florida as a Leg.

It took until about the mid 1990's to see Massachusetts as a Cartoon Gun. With the Hammer up by the Coast and New Hampshire with the Handle being down by Fall River.

And out at the end of the barrel is Arlo's Bring Your Own dog/god Church where he got Famous on Turkey Day by cleaning the trash out of a Church; which had not taken its trash out for a long long time. A parable.

Thank you for the welcome. I am glad you saw the humor in my picture, I didn't want it to offend. Likewise, I liked your pictures and music on your profile. This looks like a great community with a lot of content. I plan on making regular visits. Check out CorbettReport.com. It also has good interviews conducted by James Corbett and episodes of the real news of our time. -chris

I'm just busy as hell at the moment. I'm associated with a small software corporation, a really small garage operation where everyone is working for stock but it includes a few ex-Boeing execs in management and some other very talented people. One of our guys is very into alternative energy products and has come up with something pretty awesome so now we are suddenly working on a hardware product that needs some electronic controls and I'm in the middle of designing and building those by hand since I am the only one with hardware experience involved in the company (electronics technician for 16 years).

I was tempted to jump on the radio thing but I just can't commit to it right now. Previously I did a couple of shows for Tweek's internet TV station Anti-NWO TV (I'm sure Tweek could still give you a link and cue up an episode for you if you're interested) and that was one hell of a lot of work so I know something of just how much time and energy doing a show can take.

So for the foreseeable future the radio thing is just not in the cards - as for the humor articles I hope to get back to knock out a few more soon but I can't promise much at the moment.

Hi Tara, Yes this is "Babe", (Named from the Styx song) the love of my life. She keeps me going even on the worst of times. Thank you for the greeting and great web site. And I thought the 60's & 70's were full of turmoil!!! I am afraid of how complacent the people have become and where this country is being lead

Thanks for the welcome, Tara. For someone who doesn't like spending time in front of a computer, I think I'm getting a bit confused and overwhelmed by joining too many network sites; restoretherepulic.net, this one, a local NH network I can't even remember the name of, facebook, my space, etc.. But there is great value, I think, in connecting to like thoughts, ideas, inspirations, and actions.

I just read the excerpt you posted from Khahil Gibran. I was struck and surprised by the depth, power, and subject; freedom. It seems such a long way from mandatory head scarves, forced circumcisions, etc.. Then again, Christ's teachings are just as far from burning people alive for practicing herbalism, etc.. In the name of any name...anyone can push any agenda. Even in the name of freedom...or in the name of love....

Words are truly powerful. But inevitably it is our actions that define the effectual world. And then, our perceptions re-translate....

So, who needs more networks to confuse themselves? Apparently, me. All in an effort to gather and share more clarity of mind. Amazing times are happening.
