A Staten Island woman who works for the TSA pepper-sprayed her 70-year-old husband in the eye — because he wouldn’t turn up the heat, a law-enforcement source told The Post.

The couple had been relaxing inside their home on Hanover Avenue at around 8:40 p.m. Feb. 23 when the wife, Kim Dove, a 63-year-old TSA security agent, felt chilly and asked her hubby to hike up the thermostat, the source said.

But her husband wasn’t having it, according to a source close to the case.

He put his foot down and told her he was just fine with the temperature and to quit her yakking, the source said.

The husband and wife then started taking turns raising and lowering the heat, the source said.

Their bickering continued until Dove said enough is enough — and maced her husband in his right eye with the personal-defense spray, the complaint said.

His eye reddened and swelled, but the victim refused medical attention, the papers said.

Dove, who works out of Newark Airport, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of assault and a lesser count of harassment, authorities said in a criminal complaint.
