Hillary is still privately against gay marriage. She's not WITH you LGBT groups.
Here they are discussing old footage of her opposing gay marriage and them trying to figure out how they are going to have Hillary say she's for gay marriage. (She's not). Her entire campaign is a fraud.
"I think everyone agrees we shouldn't restate her argument. Question is whether she's going to agree to explicitly disavow it. And I doubt it."
"I'm not saying double down or ever say it again. I'm just saying that she's not going to want to say she was wrong about that, given she and her husband believe it and have repeated it many times. Better to reiterate evolution, opposition to DOMA when court considered it, and forward looking stance. "
They're tip-toeing around it because they know that if they push her too hard to disavow and apologise, she'll go full hardcore homophobe and it won't look good for her. She's on tape too about 8 years ago saying Marriage is between a Man & A woman. She still believes it.
This confirms our "I have public and private positions" leak from the last Podesta dump.
"She will say anything and change nothing" -Barack Obama, 2008
Really makes you think what else she's got a different view on... Cough, She's not anti TPP, cough...

Though his official political position was against same-sex marriage

Clinton signed DOMA. Many years later, he claimed that he did so reluctantly in view of the veto-proof majority, both to avoid associating himself politically with the then-unpopular cause of same-sex marriage...
Clinton, who was traveling when Congress acted, signed it into law promptly upon returning to Washington, D.C., on September 21, 1996 Guess LGBT rights weren't important enough for standing his ground. Oops.

Think all of us are getting incoming from friends in LGBT community about DOMA comments. We just need guidance and then on political end think we need a plan for how to hose down anxious friends. [Hose down???? Wtf is that] From Jennifer Palmieri, Director of Communications for the 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.
TLDR: WJC signed anti gay marriage bill and HRC and WJC still agree with it. She refuses to disavow it.
