IRS “easiest enforcer” of health care law

Despite claiming Obamacare was “not a tax,” Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the Internal Revenue Service would be the “easiest enforcer” of penalties against those who refuse to comply with the new health care law.
“The way we usually think of taxation, Wolf, is that taxation as the IRS administers is collected on broad swaths and large categories of individuals,” Wasserman Schultz said. “This is a penalty that will be assessed on the tax return if you choose to roll the dice and make us all pay for your being irresponsible and increase all of our health care costs.”
“We’re not going to tolerate that any more in America. You have to be responsible and you have to pay a penalty if you choose not to be,” she added.
Last week the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare on the basis that it falls under Congress’ taxation power. However, critics have argued that the health care law actually mandates Americans to buy a service under threat of government coercion, a violation of the commerce clause. The Supreme Court upheld this argument but still gave the green light anyway.
Under Obamacare, the IRS will be empowered to collect a whole raft of information about taxpayers and small business owners.
“The IRS now gets to know about a small business’s entire payroll, the level of their insurance coverage — and it gets to know the income of not just the primary breadwinner in your house, but your entire family’s income, in order to assess/collect the mandated tax,” reports Fox News.
Earlier this year, the IRS said it would need at least 4,000 new agents to enforce the Affordable Care Act along with $300 million dollars extra in funding to manage the infrastructure needed to compel Americans to comply with Obamacare.
However, that could only mark the beginning of a massive expansion of the IRS as a result of Obamacare. Back in 2010 it was reported that as many as 16,500 extra armed IRS agents were being hired to harass Americans into complying with the new mandates.
Congressman Ron Paul responded by asking why so many armed agents were required to enforce a law that the Obama administration has promoted as beneficial to the American people.
“16,500 armed bureaucrats coming to make this program work – if it was a good program and everybody liked it, you wouldn’t need 16,500 thugs coming with their guns and putting you in jail if you didn’t follow all the rules,” said Paul.

Unfortunately, Amy, that's what they're counting on.

Wasserman can suck it...ignorant uppity bitch...keep it up..we'll be hangin your ass next to Barry's lying ass
As long as you allow the Federal government (not the legit gov) to presume you are a U.S. citizen under the 14th Amendment (never actually ratified) ... you are then under that corporate structure. The IRS (a foreign-based private corporate trust and NOT a government agency) can do as it pleases to you. However, under an 1802 Act of Congress, now, Statute at Large... you are not a U.S. citizen. as in NOT. unless you have done three (3) intentional acts. Believe me, you have done none of them. This means that you must dispute the government's presumption that you are a 14th citizen under them, with no.. NO unalienable rights.. only privileges which is what 'civil rights' actually are. YOU ARE NOT under their jurisdiction (in personam). None of their bullshit statutes apply to YOU. Not one of their ordinances, codes, rules, regulations ... not any, not even one. And all unalienable rights (in the Declaration of Independence - the ones the signers referred to as from God...) which in my mind are a hell of a lot better than some privileges from some goddamn government. So, y'all, learn some law, learn what is real and what is sham perpetrated upon us by the banking elite, the hangovers from Babylon and other minion flotsam and jetsam.
Well, Jim, it depends. Are you in any need of help from the U.S. Gov.? If so, you will never see a wisp of them. If you are deemed a criminal (Not paying taxes depends on how popular with the Gov. you are: More popular=not a criminal, Less popular=criminal). If you are a criminal, there is no amount of money they will not print to find you and chase you to the ends of the Earth. If not, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep in mind though, if you haven't renounced your citizenship and don't embrace Obamacare, you will be a criminal. Are you all ready for your under the skin ID tracker that Obamacare demands you receive in March 2013? Look it up, it's in the law!

I guess folks should keep an eye on the Department of the Treasury/IRS making any more large arms/ ammo purchases.
Sorry to say, it looks like the Suck-Cream Court of the U.S. is in cahoots with the pRESIDENT EVIL and the IR-uS.
I don't live in the US anymore. I don't have health coverage of any kind. I am 66 and doing good so far. My problem is I can't file my income tax from last year, can't afford to go to the Us embassy or even pay the fee's they charge, just now got my last W-2 but need a printer to get. Maybe the Gov will take me out with an A-10?
