Twenty-five million people with a 60 mils radius of the volcano.... Whew, I'm not a religious individual, however, it makes me want to pray that this volcano does not experience a major eruption. Usually, but certainly not always, when a volcano erupts like this one has it is relieving its pressure and that often equates to no explosive large-scale eruption. Unfortunately, that always doesn't hold true, so in my mind it still remains a threat.  Geologists have often stated that before volcanoes erupt, there will be earthquake swarms and other associated quakes when the magma is rising and crushing/melting rock as the mountain deforms before an eruption, and that's true in 85-90% of the cases. What they often fail to state is that the other 10-15% erupt without any warning whatsoever. Thanks for posting the graphic that shows the other volcanoes in relatively close proximity to Popocatepetl.

It's very rare, however, in the last few years, there have been cases where three (3) volcanoes erupted simultaneously. The first incident was in the Aleutian Island chain, and the other three were fairly close in Russia a couple of years later. (Not positive  about the length of time between the two series of eruptions.) In Indonesia, just a few weeks ago, they had alerts on a series of volcanoes that were beginning to demonstrate quite a bit of activity that did result in an eruption, albeit minor in comparison to the danger some of them posed. We live in very interesting times...

@ William : Those people are at Cholula where people attend services at any of its 365 churches daily,

if a reporter asks them if they worry about the latest "eruption" they'll naturally reply yes they are; however they are not worried enough to evacuate unless forced to.

Evacuating the 25 million people living within the 60 mile radius of the crater is easier said than done.

Rest Well, William.  They just lke to use their imaginary power...those black robed, child eating, banker agents - to keep in practice, right?  They know your sister has the right to what is hers.  They just like to feel their super human powers in commerce and 'law'.  Except for me, there is no 'outside' law.   We don't need or want them! It's amazing what we've let ourselves in for......

Yes, she is an organism that feels and is wise. 

I'm drop dead tired too - long days reading, and the farm and three new adopted street pups keep me movin.  Horses and goats and a baby goat that must be bottle fed - and me with a dislocated shoulder..it's a good thing I'm a female :)!  sweet dreams to you.

Let me collect my stray thought here for a second.  I used the word 'bennies' for 'benefit'...Benefit my blue balls!!   it's not a benefit at all.  it's an insurance program, of course that we have paid into.  That was an incorrect word!  Bad!  and wrong wrong wrong.  I did some research on SSI and found that the fund is making oodles of money - it's one of the only gubmint programs that actually function :).  If it hadn't been for Clinton, that pusbag of porn and corruption, we'd actually be getting what we deserve, have paid for and need...about - this is a guesstimate but I think pretty accurate - 40% more than what we are taking out.  Isn't it time, YES, that we stopped believing in a myth called 'goverment' and stopped believing that they have some kind of super powers?  YES. I'm with that!

I'm pretty tired now as I've been trying to keep up with a lot of stuff, so I'll be going to sleep shortly. My Sister has been recovering from multiple surgeries, one after the other, for over two years - and by the letter of the law, that's mandatory SSI. She's only 43 and had a complete ankle reconstruction about six weeks ago and her Dr. said she would be 100% disabled for at least another year, which is why I called the Administrative Law Judge (Sic) a lousy name. It infuriates me every time I think about it.

Here's a thought for you to contemplate; Lately, scientists have stated that Mother Earth is essentially a living organism... If that's the case, then based on our behavior and rapid growth, human beings would be viewed by Earth as a virus and/or cancer.

sorry to hear about your sister - I was turned down 3 times before I got my SSD....but I did, eventually and they had to pay three years of back payments (of our worthless $$).  even though I had stacks of documentation, it was a battle.  And then the COLAs are of course done by phoney accounting.  So I'm hip to the left/right paradigm bs.   they like to keep us Mundanes busy fighting and distracted.  As far as where I'd feel comfortable, that would be south of the Andes, too.  pardon, but is your sister trying to collect SSD or retirement bennies?   Yes, you write what you believe...those of us that need to know will be there!   General Strike:  it will come down to that, IMO:  people lost jobs, homes, families - when you ahve nothing to lose, it really can piss a person right off and that is mobilizing...but I do believe if we would all stop doing the work thing, the shopping, buying gas, just close the whole country down....that would shift the balance of power.  I'm close to it, so it wouldn't be a hardship for me - in fact, I like living close to the bone.  I find it interesting, stimulating and I like saying F off to corporations...and disparaging the government is noble!   Might I suggest reading a book by Larken Rose?  The Most Dangerous Superstition.  nice mind shift work in there.  He's also got some short and sweet YouTube vids.  It is nice to talk with you and to wish you well.  

  When i think about this earth shifting...I think HAARP, fracking, the BP crap...I saw a map the other day by a Japanese artist that portrayed all the nuclear blasts set off aorund the globe.  The earth may be truly and finally sick and tired of us.  It's a living thing that has been raped and pillaged for profit.  It's enough to make you sit in a corner and bang your head against the wall :).

Thanks for the nice comment. No, there hasn't been a word in the MSM about this, and the USGS has flat-out denied that there is an increase in earthquake frequency or magnitude. There is also evidence they are purposely downgrading the magnitude of some of these quakes so they don't alarm people, or they prefer to keep the people in the dark. We live in a heck of a country and if I could, I'd leave right now and head for the Atlantic side of South America, or north to Canada, but I have a Sister and her 2 children who depend on me financially si I have to stay until she gets her SSI - if that ever happens. My Son's 14K Tax Return is being audited, and a Bastard Administrative Law Judge denied her appeal for Social Security/SSI because he didn't approve of my political views and made mention that I was not a reliable witness because I had "disparaged the government."

It's sad, but they are beating my family to death because of my political views and the constant articles I post which to the best of my knowledge and belief, are true and correct. That's the country we live in now and we have to change it with mass protests or better yet, a General Strike and keep it up until they finally cave-in or kill enough of us to scare the rest of the Sheeple into submission.

Hi William - it's interesting that statistically something is afoot and yet no one is talking about it - I'll bet (I have never had teevee so I couldn't really say) on the msm, no one seems to notice.  this just has the footprint of 'let's take advantage of a problem" written all over it.  They will use it to their advantage. I've no doubt that the pychopaths in charge of plans are well aware. If a huge quake does occur, there'd be a full court press.  Panic, marshall law....no water.  I just finished an old Reader's Digest on the San Fran Quake...imagine today; population is huge, buildings are sky high, and the roads bringing supplies in and out are shattered...it would be another one of the "regrettable" "who could have seen this coming" repeats.   I've no doubt they know....they're just hoping that we don't notice.   And thank you for the link!!! I hope to read more of your writing.  A big:  Take Care...:)  And head for the hills...?

If you read the section, Earthquakes and Volcanoes, at http://ThePoliticalBandit.com, you will note that I have just about begged for the USGS to issue an altert because I have been predicting that a Mega-Quake will strike before the end of the year in North America. I write about the two Great Quakes in Indonesia within hours of each other and again stated the USGS should issue an alert. The SOB's refuse to listen even though the predictions I have made about these quakes marching northward and my theory on earthquake patterns have now proven to be correct - but I received comments that it was "Junk Science." I've been studying this for years and not a damn person that can do anything will listen.  Go figure; they likely won't listen to Gheorghe Marmureanu either, however, in this instance, I hope that I am wrong. We are all in deep $hit and the stink is beginning to become obvious to others as well. Everyone should prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
