National Park Service chief to face House GOP

National Park Service Director Jonathan Jarvis will square off Wednesday against House Republicans who allege the Obama administration has gone overboard in closing off public access to parks and memorials during the government shutdown.
The Oversight and Government Reform Committee has announced the witness list for the joint hearing with the Natural Resources Committee Wednesday, titled: “As Difficult As Possible: The National Park Service’s Implementation of the Government Shutdown.”
