Shooting at Sikh Temple Outside Milwaukee; Injuries Reported

A mass shooting has occurred at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisc., just outside Milwaukee.

At least four people have been reported injured in the mass shooting and no suspect has been identified. Hospitals in the area were told to be ready for up to 20 shooting victims, according to police radio reports.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a SWAT team entered the temple after the shooting and evacuated the uninjured members.

Among those shot was the president of the temple, the Journal Sentinel reported.

The incident reportedly occurred around 10:45 a.m. at the temple, where people were gathering for a morning service.

According to information broadcast over police radio, a witness to the shooting told law enforcement the shooter was a white male, bald, with a heavy build. He was wearing a sleeveless T-shirt, according to Oak Creek Patch. He was last seen with two handguns.

A spokeswoman for Froedert Hospital, the main trauma center in the Milwaukee area, said that two men were taken there and the hospital was ready to receive more.

There are more than a dozen ambulances parked outside the temple, and police moved media and a handful of bystanders to an area near the temple.

Oak Creek police have not released any information yet on the shooting.

Sources have told 9NEWS he used to live in Littleton from 2000 to 2007.
9NEWS found Wade's name listed in a Littleton High School yearbook for 1987 and twice in Arapahoe High School's yearbooks for 1989 and 1990. His last name was different at the time. He went by the name "Wade Vanbuskirk."

In 1999, Page pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired in Denver. He served 60 days in jail, according to Denver court records. The Denver Sheriff's Office refused to release its mug shot of him, citing a request from law officers in Wisconsin.

Now why would they care what he looked like 13 years ago?

Edwards said "weapons" were recovered, but would not elaborate.
