Tony Mannor, the owner of Finnegan's Irish Pub in Stockton, CA, is screening his customers by requiring them to become his friend on Facebook before allowing them in.
He says he had no other choice.
According to Mannor, as the pub became more popular it attracted some unwanted company, so he came up with the idea of requiring people who show up after 9 p.m. to become Facebook friends with him.
But you still won't be let in until Mannor has looked through your personal information and photos to see what kind of person you really are.
When you arrive at Finnegan's after 9 p.m. you will be greeted by a bouncer with a computer who will check your Facebook ID to make sure you are a guest.
Guest's at the bar say they don't mind giving up they're information because they say it makes them feel safe.
Tony says the bar has access to the personal profiles of approximately 10,000 people.
