An elementary school in Frisco, Texas is believed to be the first in the state to violate “The Merry Christmas Law” after they banned Christmas trees and the colors red & green from an upcoming “winter” party.
Boys and girls who attend the Nichols Elementary School “Winter Party” will not be able to make any reference to Christmas or any other religious holiday. Christmas trees are also banned – along with the colors red and green.
The rules were sent to parents in an email from the school’s PTA and first reported on by MyFoxDFW.com.

"Disinterest in the preservation of The Constitutional Republic should not be rewarded or even possible in the U.S.."
If you English would man up and get rid of your royal house then us Americans would appreciate it very much. As a matter of fact, it was your reluctance to do so that caused Americans to write the Constitution in the first place.
And just what's the "penalty"? This would fall under the first amendment, bring on the lawsuits. Or bring on the second amendment.
Does anyone here remember the pretty green, yellow and blue toilet paper or the ones that had the pretty flowers on it?
GUESS WHAT THEY BAND THAT TOO!!!!!!
How else can children learn about the rich and varied ideas about life Others hold? This is not motivated by a desire to "spare feelings." This is motivated by a desire to instill the idea that having religious thought is shameful. One's relationship to the divine is NEVER shameful. How One may choose to behave towards Others based on that is where shame is earned.
The City of London is poking us with sharp sticks through the bars of our cages. Hah hah hah. If so many Americans weren't puttied to their CFRtv viewing chairs high on Dr. Pepper and Chee-tos, something could be done. Disinterest in the preservation of The Constitutional Republic should not be rewarded or even possible in the U.S..
Holidays are supposed to bring people together, not divide them. They should be allowed to celebrate (or not) however they want.
Right on Citizen!
While it does remain true that Christmas is a decidedly Christian holiday (so I celebrate the Solstice), it is wrong to ban students' own personal expressions of holiday greeting. The banning of colors is preposterous.
Ughhh, they burn my azz up! Commies. Sharing.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Merry Christmas!
What insanity.
