Pollution is no doubt a serious problem. If I were on of our overlords, I would say that carbon units, whatever, represented so much lead in the water, so much plastic that would take hundreds of years to break down, etc. Too many people know about the scheming and disagreements within the ICC now. India and China create something called the Asian Brown Cloud , a localized polluted atmosphere, from having no regulations on industry. There have been millions of Chinese "environmental refugees" for decades. But we are too small to affect the whole Earth's climate.
