20 arrested for narcotics at weekend Phish concerts
Hampton Police have released preliminary arrest information following last weekend's Phish concerts.
According to Cpl. Mary Shackelford, 20 concert-goers were arrested for narcotics in and around Hampton Coliseum during the three-day event.
Shackelford says there were 8 arrests on Friday, 8 on Saturday and four people were taken into custody Sunday on various charges including possession of drugs and distribution of narcotics.

Police arrested 42 people and confiscated drugs as well as nearly $12,000 during a Phish concert
The Vermont-based jam band played a trio of shows at historic Boardwalk Hall last week from Thursday through Saturday. During the concerts, officials say the Atlantic City Police Department Special Investigations Section and other law enforcement groups conducted several surveillance and undercover operations in the area.
