Hey kea, Don't tell anyone but there are pear trees all over my neck of the woods,they grow near the roads in a variety of different types some are ripe& ready mid summer and some are sweet and delish after first frost, peaches, apples, blackberries, raspberries  and many other fruits are free for the minimal effort of picking them.

Oh why of cause America can not be seen to be self sufficient in Pears or anything else just when all the money has been dished out to CNN to stoke up carbon footprint bullshit. Got to nip that in the bud before anyone cottons on. Oops too late. America Is fully equiped to deal with Pear demand after all. See this -here's where they come from.
