I preferred to old version of My Space. You could "layer it" and it "FELT" more private.
I never trusted Face Book...and finally I had that validated when I was kicked off because I uploaded information about Obama. This was his first year in office.
I tried later, and got very freaked out when I received an Invitation FROM ME to ME in my Gmail Inbox.
My Gmail account was never associated with Face Book (that was my Yahoo Account).

For a older near shut in like myself, FB was fun and easy and I reconnected with quite a few old aquaintances. However, in the 'spirit of the times' it has turned into a huge liability for its users. I left it just a few weeks ago. If they what to know about me, let em tape my phone, read my e-mails and follow my sites like they do with everyone else. lol or cry ? I think 'cry' because America is 'over' thanks to these our new 'Leaders' of the NWO.

Also, socializing face to (non)face, such as with profit-driven companies, institutions, corporate logos, political parties, government agencies, products, events and the "likes" is certainly speeding up this process. Human to non-human is always a fake socializing relationship to begin with.

I remember years ago when Leo LaPorte (the "president" of the internet) cancelled his Facebook account. Pretty much all Facebook does is assemble personal data into the NSA database.
