And in ways we're similar to monkeys.  So what? In ways we're similar to many things, since we're created out of the same materials and our bodies work in similar fashion to many other animals. Let scientists speculate all they want - the earth isn't controlled by reptilians.

Whether New Age/ NESARA subscribe to this theory I can't tell nor care, nevertheless the concept has been widely adopted by Science; and main stream scientists subscribe to the triune brain theory and as such it is taught at universities; If one can't believe in Science then what's left?

How the Human Brain Developed and How the Human Mind Works

In evolutionary terms, all brains are extensions of the spinal cord. The distant ancestor of the human brain originated in the primordial seas some 500,000,000 years ago. Life and survival in those seas was relatively simple and in consequence these early brains consisted of just a few hundred nerve cells. As these initial sea-creatures evolved and became more complex, so too did the brain. A major change occurred when these early fish crawled out of the seas and onto the land. The enhanced difficulties of survival on land led to the creation of the "reptilian brain". This brain design is still visible in all modern reptiles and mammals and is a powerful clue to our common evolutionary ancestry.

My comment was a reply to you and only addressed the concept of the R-complex.

But not in the full-blown reptilians.....

I don't buy the Alien Reptilian Overlords theory. But I don't doubt at all that part of our brain is very similar to that found in Reptiles.

Actually, the source for the term is a highly respected neuroscientist.

As with all things brain related there is not agreement in field. No ones theories are fully accepted by all scientists and doctors. We still have a lot to learn.

Reptilian brain? That sounds like some New Age/NESARA beliefs I've read about. It isn't true, of course. Why would anyone believe this?
