That looks suspiciously unsymmetrical - like a *gasp* marijuana cigarette.

All I know if I run into a parrot smoking a cigarette and waving a gun around, I'm outta there!

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/119332860/auckland-parrot-reptile-...  They say pest plagues of the future would be the loss. I suppose the potential injured party would Mr Environment, likely turned into a "Person", they've done it before with a river so it would not be of any surprise if they took the whole damn lot, deciding the land and the air was a "Person" too. Reptiles are next on the hit list.

It's all about control, they get off on that. Considering law implications - Who will be injured or suffer the loss because of a parrot?

Thank you, cheeki! Yeah, I saw your post about the carnivorous birds. Weird, huh? My neighbor has an African grey parrot. He keeps it outside during the warmer weather. It used to wolf-whistle at me when I was in the back yard, and at first I thought it was a guy making fun of my long hair. It whistles songs too. This spring I'm going to make some CDs of classical tunes, maybe Yes' Mood For A Day and the like, so he can learn some new tunes. A recent addition to our local fauna is Turkey Vultures. Not sure if they eat squirrels, but if I find out they do, I'll be culling that herd myself.

As far we know caged parrots don't kill humans. Perhaps authorities are concerned they might escape and get it on with wild ones who do enjoy a feast of meat where available. We hope the wild ones just stick to live stock and not lift their game, but then again people do go missing in their neck of the woods. Great Vids JR.

They are not actually able to kill a human being, so they don't fit in with the Australian ecosystem. Or maybe they're worried people will teach them to say "Gas the kikes!"
