All religions are more or less corrupted by the rulers for mind control and abuse. Their often good core ideas are wrapped in stinking rags of greed for wealth and power. Many things in the Bible are pure insanity. Take for instance the story of a man who was collecting fire wood on Saturday (Sabbath, the holy day). Moses and his gang found about it, and what did they do? What would have been the right thing to do? Well, they stoned him to death, of course.
