when i read it .. it seemed like no one really escaped it! the end of the book was so sad :( south west , south south .. feet dangling from the lighthouse upper floor... the real savages searched for the indian savage for another night of frenzied soma fun! ... i did not get it at first. I had to read it over and over and over .. that last sentence blew me away
