Aldous Huxley may sound like a kindly old man. However, his brother, Julian was a well established eugenicist in the UN, who founded UNESCO. Both were social Darwinists. Aldous Huxley isn't being apologetic at all. He's selling his university audience the benefits of servitude. If you listen to the entire interview, they even laugh in acknowledged respect. This 1961 interview was directed at wooing a new generation of eugenicists.
