A word of caution when writing blog post and discussion I highly recommend doing so using your favorite text editor/word processor on your computer and then once complete cut and paste it into the site's text editor and finalize it there.
This avoids loss of creative work and effort should the system be experiencing glltching or a heavy load.
This method also allows you to save your work on your own system.
You been warned....;}
Raz - It does, thank you. Not a great big deal. I know changing code is like a Rubik's cube, not as straightforward as we'd like it to be. Probly time-intensive and frustrating. I appreciate having this place in which to speak, very much. Keep up the good work.
@ James Roberts re your question: "On some 12160 pages, there is an option to edit comments, and to reply to specific comments. On others, there is not. There seems to be no formula for which is which."
Blog posts allow comments only, and no individual reply to other's comments.
In this case you can direct your reply by using the @ "user name" and make your comment directly to that member's attention. Not sophisticated but effective.
Forum Discussion posts allow for comments and replies to individual comments. This is User defined in the members account settings under "My Settings" sub heading "Privacy".
By selecting "Anyone" you allow all members this option otherwise user defined by either "My friends only" or "Just me".
I hope this helps.

good info/ ideas here
"Sorry, the short url service is no longer offered to us by our web host. TRY TINYURL.COM. -James"
I'm not sure what you're referring to Tina. I don't have tags in my profile. Maybe members can add tags when customizing their page, under advance settings. Since I'm no computer savvy chic, I opt for the primitive Ning settings :(
I wish I could help more. Maybe I'll have to seek out the geek squad on 12160 ;)
I saw that some profiles have tags, can't figure out how to add them. Any help would be much appreciated.
