Another precision guided blib of infotainment going way off the target. Diverting the mind from important facts is called diversion. Another important mind control tool is entertainment. Its meaning comes from a Latin based word. In Spanish entretener is made of two words entre = in between, tener = to keep or to have.  Entertainment is literally designed to keep people's mind between the border lines defined by their abusers. That is usually the basic five; fear, hate, love reduced to sex, joy and sadness - the soap opera stuff. Critical thinking is not part of that picture.
