This would be great to have on standby for when the SHTF. I would add a thermal or night scope to it if i was going to spend the money.

I'd be inclined to choose the Cheetah 12 (improved DDI 12- AK style 12 Gauge shotgun) for a project like this (4.3KG vs the Atchinson's 5.2Kg) ...and a lightweight cowling in carbon fiber would be a good idea
