Parkland Kids Came To See Him When He Was VP?
2020 Democratic White House hopeful Joe Biden added to his recent series of gaffes by claiming he was vice president during the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, last year that killed 17.
Speaking with reporters in Iowa on Saturday, the former vice president said, "Those kids in Parkland came up to see me when I was vice president." He went on to claim that lawmakers on Capitol Hill at the time were "basically cowering, not wanting to see them."
"They did not want to face it on camera," he added. Biden, however, was no longer in office at the time.
"We choose (our) truth over facts." Biden, earlier this week.
