Great effort CS you've achieved good value for money indeed. Perhaps the point of meme here could be Motivation, - seizing an opportunity while the risks are low to better enjoy the rewards. (in this case not to die from the expected causes) Finding a cost-effective way to indulge in smoking gives back big rewards in savings.

All beside the point, BTW. This is a sarcastic summary of Covid scam. Author could just as well use heavy boozing and lack of deaths from liver failures LOL!

when these went insane on the price (fedTax + surTax + stateTax + cityTax)

Started rolling my own & stil am 6 years later, I can roll 2 cartons now (400 cigs) for 18$

(after the initial 45$ rolling machine investment)

16oz bag O tobacco = 13$ (lil over 2 cartons worth)

2 boxes of 200 "Tubes" = $5.00

2 cartons = 18$ vs 110$ store bought cartons

the best part of the rolling machine is that if something breaks on it (very hard since it's all metal), I can still order the part for it The vinyl bushing around the "Crank" once broke on me, looked up the exploded parts view, ordered the bushing (.98¢) + 2 more just in case (its the only non-metal part) and 3 of the tiny rubber foot grip (.35¢) that holds the tube in place. ya, they gotta 5$ shiping charge, but worth it

Absolutely, but know also that out of the 4 big tobacco companies one evil one produces gmo tobacco plants and about 25% of smokers do get serious lung problems. Can I please suggest that all folks who wish to smoke grow their Own tobacco, it's better for your physical health and way, way better for your financial health. I have a nice Havana/ burley crop growing in my yard at the moment and a tray of seedlings to go out in spring. All I need to buy now is filters and papers saving myself thousands of dollars a year - and smoking twice as much for free.
