t turns out that there is no archaeological evidence of any kind relating to a separate settlement of religious people in Egypt during that time. There is also no evidence of any kind relating to a mass migration across the Sinai Peninsula.

If things did indeed happen as it says in the Bible (and the Torah), there would have to be some archaeological evidence. But there is none.

Further, there is no evidence of any kind that Egypt even used slaves, and certainly no evidence that they enslaved an entire nation. The workers that built the pyramids are known to be well payed Egyptians. The pyramids weren’t even built in the right time period, being 800 to 2,000 years older than the supposed “Exodus”.

The same techniques used to track the migration patterns of ancient humans by examining DNA also show that there was absolutely no procreation between ancient Egyptians and ancient Israelites during the time that the story was supposed to have taken place. Not to put too fine a point on it, but if an entire nation was enslaved for hundreds of years, surely there would have been some inter-breeding.

In short, this story never happened.

AE,
Inserting the route into google maps and using their measurement of distance we get an approximate 750 miles. That means they traveled 0,4 miles per week on average.

The best answer I could find on distance without wasting a lot of time was 220 miles(?) Making the story even more interesting,... or ridiculous.

Let's assume the route in the picture is a thousand miles. That means they on average traveled half a mile in a week. They certainly weren't in a hurry and must have loved picnicking in the desert. Consider a moderate five miles a day during forty years and you complete a distance of 73 thousand miles, almost twice around the globe. Some of us need these beliefs and indoctrination, however ridiculous, to keep one from not going mad in this insane world.

Who really knows if the Israelite's actually took this 'trip', if they were actual 'slaves' or an unruly population taxing the resources of the land they were in so they were sent away. If you believe the Torah and the Constantine 'new testament' that he forced into existence at the Council of Nicea in 326 AD for personal political reasons leaving out all writings that did NOT fit the present political needs of STATE. Who really knows these things.

So ya, the poster is funny,... unless you are a 'Believer', and then that opens up an entirely new conversation.
