Sighhhh....days like this, Im missin me '97 jeep badly right now....drove it for almost 10 years..minor trubz the whole time I had it...water pump, alternator, front calipers all i had to replace in 9years , besides regular maintenance . .took me everywhere so nicely ;)....inline 6 (4.0)...21-22 MPG..ez to work on..all year round...couple hundred away from 300,000 when i parted w/ it...still got $800 when i sold it....luv's my Dodge Insepid, but is useless in this global warming mess, and a motorcycle's not even in the equation......bettin somebody be around here lil while...i hope...lmao
I was pumping gas the other night, and before exiting the car I checked the outside temperature on the thermostat which read 16 degrees.
I brought some of those cheap brown work gloves with me to operate the pump and as my tank was filling another guy started oohing and owing because his hands were bare and becoming frostbitten.
I yelled over to him "I'm so sick of this damn global warming" and he began laughing hysterically, I then asked "why hasn't Obama stopped it" and he began slapping his thighs howling in laughter and winces from frostbite at the same time.
People understand what a crock it is that our government uses climate to invent new taxes! The problem is that there is no revolt.
Anyway the snow looks really great when its falling and I love getting out there and clearing the driveway and walkways...the exercise gets those endorphins going and neighbors actually speak to one another.
Be safe folks...
Gotta love that global warming ;) We got a couple of inches here and that wouldn't have been so bad had it not been blowing around so much. It was super windy/gusty yesterday.
Overall, the winter hasn't been so brutal here this year. And it looks as if we might just get a spring for once, WOOT!
