I am in Steubenville, OH of rape case fame. Here in "Lil' Chicago" the city manager threatened to bring in the National Guard to solve the gang problem. She was fired several weeks later!

I live in the for real hood, not as bad as Detroit but darn close. We dont see swat or cops too often (they are scared) and the majority agree , we do fine with out ! http://tinyurl.com/12militarized-police
