- I have been a prepper for about 7-8 years now, however wife and kids are not "into this sort of thing". Ex Boy Scout from the Midwest who knows about natural disasters all to well (Floods, Tornado/high winds) and firmly believes in "Be Prepared". I still believe in preparing for natural disaster including the latest one even though the problem was created by man- Global Warming. However my biggest concern is that our government is well on its way to becoming our most relevant concern in the short term, this includes retalitory strikes from other nations for our actions, wether they be actual or imagined.
