- Because I believe in our rights to good untouched by genetic engineers hands food that has not been forced to grow under chemical poisoning conditions. I also believe that it harms our bodies our health over all. I live in a farming community and would love to breathe air that is chemical free ( monsatan) and to know that our soil is free of these poisons so our food is free of them and so our animals are eating food free of chemicals and genetic modifications! I feel very passionate about this! It all starts with clean soil that has good nutrients in it from sustainable living like our parents and granparents automatically knew how to do! The knew how to get rid of pests in a natural way, how to keep the weeds out of their gardens in a natural way and how to feed their gardens in a natural way. We all need to go back to doing that and not lose this...well what once was common place knowledge and is now in danger of becoming a lost art. I feel that it truely is a fight for us as Americans to fight for our health, for our very own freedoms as individuals who live in what is at present still a sovereign nation, to be able to have our own control over what we grow or raise for food and how we get, keep and stay healthy. (Sorry if this is too long, but I could go on for an hour or more about how it is all connected!) Lorena S
