Tremendous news! I just got off the phone with Dr. Paul's publisher, and Ron's new book End The Fed will enter the NYT's bestsellers list at #6. This new book is a great tool for spreading the message of sound money.
These results are on par with last year's initial success of The Revolution: A Manifesto. Keep in mind, the fall is a much more competetive time… Continue

With guns drawn and flashlights cutting through darkened rooms, Polk County undercover drug investigators stormed the home of convicted drug dealer Michael Difalco near Lakeland in March. As investigators searched the home for drugs, some drug task force members found other ways to occupy their time. Within 20 minutes of entering Difalco's house, some of the investigators found a Wii video… Continue

BALTIMORE — The call from the White House usually would come in late afternoon. President Clinton had a few hours open in the evening. Could he come over?
Taylor Branch, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author and civil rights historian, would pick up a notepad of questions and two microcassette recorders and drive his truck down Interstate 95 to… Continue

Two weeks ago, both the administration and the Fed announced with straight faces that the recession was over and the signs of economic recovery were clear. Then last week, the president made a stunning decision that signals the administration’s… Continue

One day, you hear a loud knock on your front door.
But it’s not a neighbor visiting or someone trying to sell you a subscription.
Instead, it’s a federal agent -- the federal government’s newest threat to your liberty demanding to check your household appliances . . . your light bulbs . . . your thermostat . . . and this is NO… Continue
For three decades, Rep. Ron Paul has waged a lonely battle in Congress to abolish the Federal Reserve. But he has more foot soldiers across the nation today, particularly after the financial crisis, who are leading the drive for wider congressional audits of the central bank. (See today’s Journal story for more on their movement.)
Rep. Ron Paul speaks to a growing group of followers.… Continue

So, the Navy can apparently come and fly into a municipal air port, shut down more than half the run-way so they can refuel. At one point, both the air port manager/operator and the owner of the Jet behind the Navy's chopper decided to stand up to the Navy and they all got in a little confrontation about the situation. Apparently, if the Navy wants to, they can land at your local municipal air port and partly shut it down if they feel it necessary.…
WASHINGTON – The lodge room of the Naval Masonic Hall is a colorful and somewhat inscrutable sight for the nonmember, with its blue walls, Egyptian symbols, checkered floor in the center and high ceiling painted with gold stars.
Countless secrets supposedly have been shared in this and thousands of similar rooms of the Masons around the… Continue

Obama delivered one of his famous teleprompter speeches today at Federal Hall in New York on the one-year anniversary of the Lehman Brothers scam. It was a cynical move, considering Obama spoke from the building where the country’s founders once argued over how much the government should control the national economy. Federal Hall also served as the first… Continue

What frugal person doesn't like libraries? They're like a video store, only better. Which is why we're horrified to learn that thanks to the economic meltdown and the state of Pennsylvania's inability to pass its budget, the Philadelphia Free Library is closing on October 2nd. They'll be ending all services and programs, and closing all of the buildings. They want all of the books back,… Continue
As the 2007-08 presidential campaign cycle offered up the usual slate of Washington insiders, Ron Paul, an obscure Congressman from Texas brought an alternative voice that challenged the political establishment.
Advocating a philosophy of sound money, a non-interventionist foreign policy, strict Constitutionalism, and individual liberty, Dr. Paul inspired a unique grassroots movement unmatched in American history - the repercussions of which continue to reverberate today and into the… Continue

In Pennsylvania last week, a citizen, burly, crew-cut and trembling with rage, went nose to nose with his baffled senator: "One day God's going to stand before you, and he's going to judge you and the rest of… Continue

I'm sitting in the back of the classroom on the final day of the YAL National Convention, and I couldn't wait any longer to get this YouTube video out to you.
Yesterday, YAL Events Director, Trevor Leach, and our top youth activists demonstrated on the Washington, DC, National Mall to collect petitions in opposition of Obama's government takeover of health-care.
It wasn't long until a SWAT team in an armored truck threatened Trevor and our youth activists declaring, "There… Continue
