I think I’ve become quite good a waking people up to the truth of 9/11 and other assorted atrocities.
I'm in marketing (yes, I know Bill Hicks said I should kill myself) but, I’ve found that it’s possible to use my powers for good. It’s best to use subtly and to never raise your voice when speaking with the uninitiated. People like to feel like they are making up their own mind. Most people hate to be mentally pushed in one way or another. Therefore, the best tactic is to start small. Give them a piece of very basic information that most of "awake" people would know (the Federal Reserve is not a part of the US Government, the Bayer Corporation sold drugs infected with the HIV virus to other countries, etc). Back up your statements with documented sources and videos that are readily available. Videos on both of the above examples can be located easily on Youtube or Google video.
What is important here is to lay a framework down. If you can show a person that one piece of their perception is flawed, then you in a much better position to have more detailed conversations with them about other subjects (9/11, Swine Flue, Vaccinations, The Bilderburg Group, etc).
However, you must....MUST allow the person to wake themselves up. You can not ever force someone to believe something, no matter how true it is. What is required is patience and finesse.
Not to get all metaphysical, but allow me to give you an example: If the devil wants to seduce someone, he doesn't beat them over the head with what he wants them to do. He whispers in their ear. He suggests things. He never forces them to do anything. He simply shows them a path and allows them to walk down it.
...and of course most people do.
What I am saying is that if we want to have a future for our selves and our children, we must be relentless, and...yes, we must be ruthless. Ruthless in our quest for the truth to come out. We must also be tireless.
Evil is all around us 365 days a year. It doesn't waver. Neither should we.
Stay faithful.
