A Mesmerized Daze

Looking at the world from a distance

All of the chaos and the resistance

Self-destruction with consistence

I fell for your love with your insistence,

There’s no way to ever turn back

You couldn’t believe your spouse was a hack

Mental abuse is surely an attack

Wondering will I make it through the flak,

Some relish in being alone

They won’t even answer their phone

Like an old dog chewing on a bone

Playing the part of the invisible man

Feeling left out of the plan

Scathing fire on the beaches of Saipan

Coming ashore in a bullet riddled can

Dying by the dozens from a single command

Now they call it a liberated land,

Opposites attract they say

But their break up is never far away
