Very sad indeed. Very sad and unacceptable. You are right. Thank you for posting this and letting me know about.

Wow, do I have conflicting feelings about this video. I don't support his comment about racism at all. Racism in the military. I can't agree with a broad brush statement like that. Racism is individual and supported by those in power. That'd be our government.

Our government has put our military in this position because all in our military have given an oath to serve and our government has taken advantage of that oath, and our men & women's honor to keep their oath.

I see the men and women and children in foreign lands. They are us, they are our brothers and sisters. Our government has caused shame on our military and the young man in this video is accepting that shame as his own and standing up to do something about it. Only he's the wrong one to accept the shame.

Unfortunately this is like using dental floss to carve out Mt. Rushmore. The part about big business and profit running this war is still considered a "conspiracy theory" instead of truth. The young man will need far more than dental floss, Jeff. I will share this video, and I hope others will share this video, but until our government decides truth is better than profit, I believe we are just spitting into the wind. Until our government accepts the shame and stands up to do something about it, the slaughter will continue.

Obama escalates the war and makes it sound like he struggled with this decision. He assigns a false withdrawal date to pacify his supporters. He goes all the way to Dover AFB for photo ops to show he is thinking about the repercussions, yet when he went there, only one family agreed to allow pictures. The others refused. And yet when he went there, he had to pass the military who stood at his door, at his gate, at his vehicle and on his plane. He had to have flown over Arlington National Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to get to Dover AFB to get a photo op of him thinking about the repercussions of escalating the war. Yeah. I see his thought process here. I see the dance.
