Yea, I expected they would as well. Oddly enough, when Obama signed the NDAA on New Years Eve, it confirmed my gut feeling that 2012 was going to be a bumpy ride.

I fully expected the PTB would take advantage of the 2012 prophesies. Of course they want us scared and are just waiting to see how we react. It's going to be very interesting. Remember last year when that preacher predicted the end of the world? Some folks bought into it and gave their stuff away, maxed out their credit cards, and did lots of nutty things. A lot more believe in the 2012 and Doomsday prophesies and these are the ones I'm concerned about.

I found this video and felt it was a pretty good compilation of world events that are suffice to say, very odd. Whether or not our fate in 2012 has been accurately prophesied by dooms day prophets or much of these occurrences are self fulfilling and man made, one thing is for certain, something strange is happening.

Watching this video a few things came to mind. First, there certainly are people that want to scare us, literally, to death. Second, if you really think it over, the world is changing and becoming vastly different in so many ways. Third, and probably the most outside the box mindset I have had with all of this, is the notion of our mental states effecting reality. Down throughout history and even today, their are theoretical physicists and psychologists that have postulated the possibility that whatever man conceives in his mind, may eventually manifest into our reality. An old ideation still contemplated by today's intellectuals that was, in many ways, accepted in the ancient world. Could it be that because of our fear of the end of the world, that we are, somewhere, deep in our collective sub conscious minds, creating the end of the world?

Indeed it is 2012, but I can't help but feel that some of these events are being used to instill more fear within the general public. And then when you add in all the apocolyptic, disaster, bio-warfare, alien, ect movies that have come out in the last 20 years or more, it makes you wonder if there may be an agenda behind this all. If you keep the public in a constant state of fear of the unknown, you have complete control over them.
