What are the lasting implications of a botched Joe Biden retreat from Afghanistan now? The administration has cost lives, 83 billion in high tech US military hardware, and strategic territory, but even worse, America has lost trust of the world! If you lose your integrity and can’t even go in to save your own people, how can your allies possibly take you seriously? The far reaching repercussions are like a shot heard around the world. America is perceived as weak, untrustworthy, and now our allies will have no faith in our commitments to defend regional theaters of potential conflict from the aggressors of the world.

Past lessons

No longer can America play the role of isolationist. We saw what happened in World War II as Japan and Germany gained military might by going unchallenged as they acquired huge land holdings of other nations while the US debated entering a looming war that nearly cost America and the world the loss of freedom and sovereignty. Just as Japan did prior to Pearl Harbor, they acquired island chains in the Pacific, fortified them, developed a re-supply strategy to keep them viable, and even attacked Manchuria committing atrocities without retribution by the US or the League of Nations. Consider China today building artificial islands all over the South China Sea, using them as missile sites and fighter jet runways, and have made a move on Hong Kong unchallenged leading to massive arrests and imprisonments. Is there a parallel here?

Hyenas nipping at the lion’s balls

Iran, North Korea, and Russia making bold moves to gain a foothold in the Middle East while nuclear weapons development is being pursued again by Kim Jong un and Ali Khamenei as Joe Biden has deconstructed every step toward foreign stability President Trump achieved in his 4 years of service despite fanatical Democrat resistance. America’s enemies are emboldened. At home the massive influx of illegal immigrants from all over the world has greatly increased the probability of terrorism on our own soil! Where is common sense or good old fashioned patriotism anymore? Will Ukraine be able to resist a hostile move by Putin if the Biden White House keeps sending out signals of compromise and cowardice?

What choice do we have?

Whatever you might think about the financial allure of defense contractor dollars, the influence of the military industrial complex, or the morality of young men losing their lives abroad, becoming weak and unreliable in the eyes of our enemies will lead to even worse consequences! Should we lose Taiwan as an economic partner to the invading Communist Chinese there goes the semiconductor production the US needs for its own industry? Our car market alone would collapse without the chips made by our friends on Formosa. Already, US industry including our major defense contractors depend upon China for the manufacture of parts that go into US aircraft! This nation is in a dangerous co-dependence created by corporations that would rather partner with our potential enemies and ship our jobs overseas just as Democrats have encouraged for decades. Do we fight terrorism here at home and watch America descend into the kind of bloody turmoil we see everywhere else on the planet? With BLM and ANTIFA we have gotten a taste of that thanks to the Democrats.

Facing disaster

America has lost face, but even worse, the Biden Administration is selling out our nation by leaving Americans stranded in Afghanistan, spending billions to accommodate illegal aliens and Afghan refugees as retired Americans face a collapse of the Social Security system in the near future and the US dollar faces a collapse should the trillions in unwise spending for Democrat pet projects continue! If they were trying to destroy the greatest nation on the face of the planet they couldn’t do a better job! What are the Republicans doing to impeach Biden and his bungling appointees such as Blinken, Harris, Millea, Austin, and Kirby along with Pelosi and Schumer?

What now?

We keep hearing that the midterm elections will bring back a GOP majority in the House and the Senate. We keep hearing that once that has been achieved there will be some magical turn around. Really? Will the Democrats once again rely upon their slick form of Wi-Fi manipulation of Dominion voting machines and midnight their tactics again? Will there even be an America left by that time? As President Donald J. Trump said recently in an interview, in the likelihood of his re-election by 2024 will there even be an America left by that time? Even if a majority in Congress is achieved by the GOP what can be done about a Justice Department full of activist Obama appointees who refuse to prosecute any Democrat wrongdoing? And, still many of the people don’t get it as opinion polls have shown, but then again, we must remember opinion polls most often are used to steer public perception rather than sample it. Even if a majority of Americans disapprove of the Biden clown show it seems the will of the people is meaningless. Who in the hell is really at the helm?
