The following three stories are actual events that illustrate just how little we know of this planet we occupy and deal with. For there is an element of chronic mystery that escapes us, and is either denied or ignored by the supposedly all knowing all seeing authorities. Sit back and allow your imagination to picture being there at that terrifying moment.

In the early 1960’s a routine flight over the Texas panhandle in a Boeing 707 with a normal sized flight of passengers and crew proceed at 20,000 feet. Excellent visibility lights the way for the captain and co-pilot as a seemingly uneventful trip continues. Suddenly, an unidentified aerial object comes streaking in at an almost head on course collision with the Boeing 707 flight! The captain is forced to take an extreme evasive maneuver without warning to the passengers!

People are thrown to the aisle floor by the sudden violent course change! Passengers are slammed against seats, and some luggage is dislodged and becomes projectiles! As a type of rocket or missile zooms by barely missing the passenger jet! This near mid-air collision seems to be a similar encounter reported back in 1948 By Captain C. S Chiles and Co-pilot Whitted in the air space close to Montgomery, Alabama where a rocket shaped UFO with portholes along its fuselage passed in front of his DC-3 passenger flight.

The Boeing 707 passenger jet is forced to make an emergency landing at Amarillo International Airport and several onboard passengers with injuries are hospitalized! After an investigation presumably by Project Blue Book, now simply a PR agency no longer dedicated to true research, the incident is marred by US Air Force accusations that the captain had been under the influence of alcohol! In a public press conference the pilot will blast the US Air Force for its ridiculous investigation results, but this was a typical reaction of denial and ridicule by authorities at the time.

Being the largest state in the continental United States and second only to Alaska, Texas has a long history of UFO sightings dating back all the way to 1897 and the Aurora incident during the time of the Great Airship Mysteries that occurred across the US nationwide from coast to coast. When interviewed by Captain Edward Ruppelt, Director of the US Air Force Project Blue Book while it was still a viable investigative agency prior to the 1953 Robertson Panel that transformed Blue Book into a paper tiger, Ruppelt interviewed an elderly former newspaperman from San Francisco. According to that ex-reporter the “Great Airship Mystery” spawned the same kind of interest and speculation as the later UFO craze that fascinated the American public in the 1950's and 60's.

A sheriff off duty and his wife are driving along a busy stretch of highway on a Friday night in Oregon just trying to enjoy a weekend of rest and relaxation. The traffic is moving slowly as the nocturnal air is full of headlights and bumper to bumper nightlife seekers. The sheriff’s wife is gazing through the moon roof of their sedan when she spots a figure strolling along the shoulder of the highway. At first she’s unaware of what she’s looking at other than a tall stranger not well illuminated by the traffic head lamps. As they slowly pass she looks up to see what must be an eight foot tall individual covered in hair!

The being looks straight down at her though the moon roof of their car with glowing red eyes and she’s stunned speechless! She grabs her husband by the shoulder gasping in terror. Her husband too is startled, but doesn’t draw his pistol for reasons he couldn’t understand. The man-like creature was a Sasquatch walking alongside busy night time traffic mostly unnoticed by motorists as they passed by. His wife later comments on how frightened she was when she realized it was not a normal person she was curiously watching when it stared into her eyes! These super natural moments have become quite common in the Pacific Northwest region, which has become a dark environment of radical politics and intellectual ruthlessness.
