If Only she could believe

Seems you left anyway so easily

Sometimes I just sigh on bended knee

Knowing trivial emotions will never free me,

Deliver me like the gentle rain

From this epiphany of pain

Worst part of it all it seems so inane

Finding love on planet earth is insane,

Purge the evil from this existential plane

It’s not easy here to remain

Another piece of my soul from which I must refrain

Should have listened to those who said abstain,

Still the bodies wash up from the sea,

Fools can never see the freedoms that their masters stole,

These brass colored disks hovering from above so high

Hanging there reminding me not me it’s not my time to die

Yet I heard it in my late father’s voice he could never cry

Until he lost my mother, she had finally risen to the sky.
