With so many members worrying about how to survive the upcoming economic / social / lifestyle  collapse and properly preparing for it, one option hardly ever mentioned is doing it in groups  of like-minded people; furthermore people seem to be waiting for the time when the SHTF to go on their own rather than start changing their lifestyles making the unavoidable mistakes, learning from them and making the required adjustments while they still can do it without catastrophic consequences. Fortunately there are many people all over the world who have already walked that path and from whom we can learn not only how to survive but thrive while living off the grid, such communities are called Ecovillages and several of them are willing to share their experience and offer courses on how to build your own.
