A study of our history shows America was created as a Christian, Constitutional Republic with Individual and National Sovereignty.  Which clearly puts our Nation at odds with other powerful mindsets, governments and religions around the world that are adversarial in nature and history.   Read the founders biographies.  They thought, spoke, railed against then ultimately went to revolution for the same values and topics that we are facing now.  We have to figure out who “we” are.

I challenge you to think about the following: Start at step 1.Yourself.  “What do I believe?” and more importantly “What will I stand for?”

There is a place where a line is drawn in the sand, that “you will go no further” and you will fight if you have to, in order to be free of what threatens you.  What is that to YOU these days?   Feel like you are being put in places you don’t want to be or that threaten you? Not yet?  Then when?

As a human, citizen, man, woman, family unit, neighborhood, city, county, government style, or economy we have to know who we are.  In the United States we have lost most sense of values, purpose, direction and momentum in any historical American sense.   Not to mention the will to stand on it when called to.  Let’s start simple,

• Easy vs. Right
• Good vs. Bad
• Right vs. Wrong
• Good vs. Evil
• This vs. That
• Your Belief vs. My Belief
• God vs. You – (are you the all-knowing center of your universe or is there something more than you and you don’t control it)

The Naturality of this is only exemplified by the possible outcomes in the most severe terms and situations.  When the situation is dire, the luxury to give many options or chances gets small, fast.  Your simple decision may result in a simple outcome of great consequence…. >

• Life or Death
• Hurt or Help
• Eat or Starve – what would you do to feed your child?
• Kill or Set Free
• Get left Behind or Go Home Together

When your life depends on it, the crazier things get, the simpler the choices and the answers to them must be.   We (U.S. Citizens) have to understand that in our lifetimes we will have to observe, profile, judge then execute a response knowing that right or wrong it was the best you could with what you had.  Peoples’ welfare or lives may depend on it.  Yes, you might eventually have to hurt someone’s feelings in telling them the truth about their current reality AND NOT BACK DOWN.  Remember your parents would tell you to do the right thing even if you were the only one and mocked and shouted down at.  Americans, we are now at that point in our country where we have to decide what direction as a people, a civilization, a society, we are to go.  What is it to be an American?  We all are going to differ but we have to find the center we agree upon.

It is so difficult, in its shear simplicity to understand the magnitude our current predicament.  When we affirm, as the U.S.A., what we will or will not stand for we will be that great nation once again.  We have been asleep for far too long.  When we stand for something we will see starkly the people in this world that want to control, enslave or even kill you simply because you do not share their beliefs.   Yes, not everybody wants you, the reader, to succeed in your happy, entitled American life and yes, there are people out there that hate you and will stop at nothing to subvert you or kill you.

How can you successfully go anywhere if you have no idea where you STAND?  Even at the bottom you at least know where the top is in relation….. UP!  Now you can take a first step.  Just go, it’s just as scary for the rest of us as well.  Nothing is certain, we will discuss in more depth as we move through the tough times ahead.

When most of us have had what is called the “wake up” call…. We quickly come to realize that the pillow that has made it so easy to stay asleep might be the one smothering you, at this very moment.  If you are scared and feel lost…. You are not alone, We the People are many.  We are legion.  You are not alone.
