California Poised to Require Gay History Lessons

ed note–compare and contrast this with the recent piece we ran here on TUT concerning the city of St. Petersburg (Russia) passing a law outlawing the distribution of materials to minors promoting the gay lifestyle. And yet, in spite of the information contained in the article below, intellectually-comatose ‘Christians’ in America will fall for the Zionist bait in characterizing Russia as ’returning to Communism’ and ‘being in bed with the Islamists’ and therefore an enemy to America because of her ‘Christian values’, ALLTHE WHILE, failing to see that the very same organized Jewish interests endorsing the derelict behavior typified by the gay community are the VERY SAME ELEMENTS trying to paint Russia and Islamic society as ‘enemies’ of the Christians.

God help them. they deserve whatever they get for their stupidity.

California could become the first state to require public schools to teach social studies classes on the contributions of the gay community.

Lawmakers passed the gay curriculum bill Tuesday along party lines. The legislation now heads to Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk for signature.

Democratic Assemblyman Tom Ammiano of San Francisco said the legislation is important because gay students are often bullied.

“This bill will require California schools to present a more accurate and nuanced view of American history in our social science curriculum by recognizing the accomplishments of groups that are not often recognized,” added openly gay Assembly Speaker John Perez.

California law already requires schools to teach history about women, African Americans, Mexican Americans, entrepreneurs, Asian Americans, European Americans, Native Americans and labor.

The latest bill adds “the contributions and roles of sexual minorities” as well as people with disabilities to that list.

Republicans say the bill raises concerns that students will be indoctrinated into accepting homosexuality.

“I think it’s one thing to say that we should be tolerant,” Assemblyman Tim Donnelly said. “It is something else altogether to say that my children are going to be taught that this lifestyle is good.”

Gov. Brown, a Democrat, has not indicated if he will sign the bill. Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed a similar measure in 2006.

Some Christians are calling the bill “sexual brainwashing” and warn it will drive more parents to take their children out of public schools.

Randy Thomasson, president of the group Save California discusses more on the gay history legislation and its impact on California schools on  CBN News weeknight broadcast of Newswatch, July 6.

Why stop there? Tell the kids about gerbilmania. The state government of California, like Illinois, is controlled by the American Bar Association which is part of The London Lawyers Guild, a courtroom trade union in service to Britannia. This is why California is going way bankrupt and its judges make so many irrational decisions. The Bilderbergers told Schwartzenegger that if he dropped the 4$ billion on ENRON, they would make him governor. He went for it and forgave ENRON in his acceptance speech. England wanted californi, and still do. Libya will provide for Britannia at the U.S.'s expense.

What I'm saying, because I forget some are not clever, is that if you take the bait and see this as a valid subject to be debated, then you give in to it.

It is like stirring up trouble in other countries to create the preception we are hated so when our government takes the action required by the almighty, we will blame those we know we caused to hate us.  Not those we suppose are elected by us because we love them and trust them to do the right thing for the people, always.

Such fantasy.

I believe that if a child wishes to be accepted as he or she is, as a gay person, then they should have access to support, and for guidance to wait out the bad part of growing up different.

I do not know that it should be available in schools, though if schools were good places committed to education and opening the minds of individuals (an education some others I think could suffer well) then it would be a trusted institution, and a good place to find such support.

Schools could have far more validity than "therapy", which gay kids do not need.

Straight children, and gay children not ready to be outed, would get their education by knowing that the subjects are covered, and learing how to be adult about it.

NO CHILD should be forced to learn about gay issues when they have no pertinence to their lives, and if such a class came into being, it would be ineffective for gay people if it is "toned down" for the non-gay.

Maybe gay children can find a way to not expose their sexuality so publicly, but we live in a very sexualized society now, and something must be at minimum tolerated (by the mentally weak) and accepted by the vast majority who have far more pressing matters to consider.

This is a distraction, and gay issues are tiresome as the distractions.

Radiation from Fukushima.

Perpetrators roaming free in the world who have systematically threatened, if not destroyed, our economy in an amazing transparent theft.

Our elections are meaningless because we are manipulated during the election season to accept any of the scenarios the almighty consider doling out to us, based on our feedback and what they think they can get away with.

This story is a distraction, and people who attack to keep the debate going should be disregarded as the distraction they are.

Reading comprehension is a wonderful thing.  Reread what I said and let me know if you still have a question, because I think we are on the same page.

I find ignorance and jumping to attack offensive, almost as offensive as the depiction, on every level.

As a gay man, I can tell you I have always been opposed to gay rights, and women's rights, and rights based on past segregation.

That said, and I mean that without exception, I am only and completely commited to Human Rights where we are all equal, as for past wrongs...  We do indeed live with an unnecessary underclass.  Reparations are necessary under the current system which only rewards those who already have.

In a perfect world, there is no need, because we will all have what we need, and from there, may succeed based on desire and ability.

It's evolution baby.

And as a gay man, if I rented a porn film, which I do not ever, I would not rent one as depicted above, and if this took place at a public parade, I would be just as offended.  When do straight people do this?

And if it shocks you I am gay, just look close at my public picture...  It isn't me, but it "captures gayness"...

Right!!  When i started school we learned phonics, the best teaching method by far....kids learned how to speak, pronounce.  But they removed it from the schools.  They WANT our children dumbed down.  By design.
