Checkpoint Apps Targeted
USA Today reports that four Democratic senators are targeting Apps for iphone, ipad and Blackberry that allow drivers to identify locations of DUI checkpoints.

And checkpoints are unconstitutional but as you say braindead Americans allow it. Groups like MADD convince them "it's the right thing to do." I noticed my local weekly neighborhood paper quit publishing the times and locations of checkpoints in the area. I bet someone in the sheriff's office decided to quit releasing the info to the media.
