Scary, scary stuff posted a little over four hours ago. I don't know, it could peter out and be nothing, it could kill 10% of the world population (it has a 10% mortality rate on closed cases). As far as any quarantine, the phrase "closing the barn door after the horses are out" comes to mind, very much so. Seems like a bioweapon to me. One case was asymptomatic for 27 days. Many were for not much less. In other words, time enough to come into contact with hundreds or thousands of other people (imagine if one used mass transit five days a week, or worked in a restaurant, or on an airline, or in a post office, for instance). I've heard the word "reinfect" used, which effectively doubles it's virulence. I agree 1000% with Pool and Styx, buy some food now (25 lb bags of rice, canned tuna, peanut butter is good), water, toilet paper, some vitamins. I would buy a gun and ammo too, but that's me, and that's even without a pandemic. Don't freak out yet, though, please. A lot of times, these things just "vector out", and disappear. The below intro to the Canadian television show, ReGenesis, however, seems relevant here. Can you count how many ways this guy spread his problem?
