The Associated Press is reporting that an independent forensics expert who examined David Carradine’s body has concluded that the actor did not commit suicide. Carradine’s family “released a statement from Dr. Michael Baden, who said Carradine’s death wasn’t a suicide. He said further information from Thailand is needed for a final determination,” it is reported.

On June 4, a preliminary police investigation concluded that he had hanged himself with a cord used with the suite’s curtains. It cited police as saying there was no sign that he had been assaulted.

“More than anyone I have ever met, David Carradine was a generous man who loved life,” recalled “Look” writer director Adam Rifkin, who cast Carradine as his father in National Lampoon’s “Homoerectus.”

“I find it extremely hard to believe that David — who was such a hard-working, energetic and beloved Hollywood legend — was done in by his own hand.”

During a segment that aired on the Larry King Show, CNN correspondent Jerry Penacoli said the death of David Carradine “was abnormal, the death was not natural. And the evidence shows that there were ropes tied around David’s neck and around his genitalia and that they were tied together. And that there is a report — several reports that there were ropes tied around his wrists.”

Penacoli said a filmmaker and director named Damian Chapa, who worked with Carradine, said he “believes that there was foul play” in Carradine’s death. Penacoli also said the actor was very interested in investigating and disclosing secret societies.

Several authors have documented the connection between Carradine’s father, John, and Ordo Templi Orientis, the order of the Temple of the East, a neo-Masonic secret society. English occultist Aleister Crowley was appointed as the National Grand Master General of the Order in 1910.

The first announcement I saw on this asked a different question. Was it death by auto-erotic asphyxiation? It seems like a good possibility based upon the descriptions of the way he was tied up. His hands appear to be bound together but people into that sort of thing are often experts with ropes and often use tricks to make themselves "feel" bound (and they are really) but with the knowledge that they can get out of it. This is especially true in the east where (especially in Japan) bondage is taken to a high art so that many bondage people have more rope tricks than a stage magician.

Just saying it's another possibility. In any case whether it was occult murder or a self inflicted accident it appears that someone finally managed to kill Bill.

Thai Rath is the publisher, who was published David Carradine hanging Photo. The family of David Carradine is disturbed by this Photo and may be some actions can be taken by them.

According to The Insider, Family members of David Carradine are “profoundly disturbed” by the publication of a forensics photo that allegedly shows the late actor at the scene of his death and are threatening legal action against any media outlets that reprint any of the images.

A grainy photo published Saturday on the cover of the tabloid Thai Rath shows a naked body suspended from a clothes bar in a hotel closet, with hands apparently bound together above the head and feet on the floor, the Associated Press reports. The face is blacked out and other areas are obscured.

While the paper does not indicate the source of the image, Thai police say they believe it is a picture of Carradine’s body taken by a forensics team that examined the Bangkok, Thailand hotel room where his body was discovered last week.

David’s actor brother Keith Carradine said in a statement the family was “profoundly disturbed by the release in Thailand of photographs taken at the scene of David Carradine’s death.” The statement adds: “The family wants it understood that, per (family) attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published.”

Geragos has also requested that the FBI also investigate David’s mysterious death and the on Friday, in hopes that the family is seeking an independent autopsy by famed forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden to determine whether another person could have been involved. Results of an autopsy performed Friday in Bangkok were not expected for at least three weeks.

Geragos says Carradine’s body is being brought back to the U.S. this weekend for a second autopsy, which he believes could help shed light on whether foul play was involved in the “Kung Fu” star’s death.
