Disciplinary measure & rights to appeal

Disciplinary measure

Should you be caught breaking our site rules/policies you will receive a private email message explaining what you are doing wrong and will be asked to stop doing it.

If you continue violating policy we will post a comment on your "My Page" to explain the problem again.

If after a 3rd failure to comply with the site rules/polices you will be banned from the site.

Rights to Appeal

You must submit an email to Site ADMINS that clearly states you are requesting a reconsideration.  It should also explain why you think the Admin's decision was wrong and include any new information that you would like Admins to consider.  Admins will discuss your reconsideration request at their next meeting.  All information obtained on your appeal will be re-examined and Admins will vote to affirm, modify, or reverse its previous decision.  You will be notified once a decision has been made.  You have now exercised your Right to Appeal and this decision is final.

I think with Jen's modification it's good to go.  Can we agree on this?

As Jen pointed out the public warning many not work due to the member's ability to block comments.  Can we come up with an alternative or leave as is since most members don't block comments?

I agree Tara, he's a strange bird.  He has a Jekyll and Hyde personality, sweet one minute and rude the next.  He has rubbed members here the wrong way.

Speaking of disclipinary actions that need to be taken, the member Xhacked needs to be warned about his disrespectful and rude behavior in the chatroom and in his posts. Something is not right with him. I'm very suspicious of his purpose for being on the site. He definetely is trying to stir up the pot....thankfully most members are just ignoring him and he usually just goes away but he's up to something.

What do you all think?

1st warning) Using the site admin, send private message to member. Standard message: "It has been brought to our attention that you have broken a rule on the site. (explanation of the rule/rules broken). Please do not let this happen again. Thank you."

2nd warning) Using the site admin, send a public message to the members comment box. Standard message: "It has been brought to our attention once again that you have broken a rule on the site. (explanation of the rule/rules broken). Please do not let this happen again or we will have no other choice but to ban you. Thank you."

3rd warning) Bye Bye......
