Dismembered body of missing Hasidic nine-year-old boy found in dumpster and a fridge as police arrest 'bearded loner'
The dismembered body of a missing nine-year-old Hasidic boy has been found hidden in separate locations across New York.
The horrific discoveries provide a gruesome end to the desperate search for Leiby Kletzky, who was last seen leaving the Brooklyn-based Boyan Day Camp on 44th Street on Monday afternoon.
Police are said to have found half of the boy's body - including his severed feet - in a refrigerator at the home of 35-year-old Levi Aron which they raided in Kensington, not far from where the boy was last seen.

Did he do it? Levi Aron, right, has been arrested after police found nine-year-old Leibi's dismembered body
A gold car - the last Leiby was seen entering - was also found at Aron's home, according to reports.
Officers were then led this morning to the remains hidden in a suitcase in a dumpster in Sunset Park by Aron, who is said to have confessed to the murder, sources said.
Aron, who works at the Empire Supply hardware store in Kensington, allegedly suffocated the boy before brutally cutting him up, police said.
Three knives in a butcher block were found inside the suspect's apartment.
A co-worker told the New York Post Aron is divorced with no children and acted completely normally while at work yesterday.
'I can't believe this,' he said. 'He was a strange guy but he was here yesterday and he was fine after killing this little boy.'
The suspect's Facebook page revealed he is a practiser of Kabbalah who enjoys playing computer games such as Farmville.
In a cruel irony, he had also joined a group titled 'IS YOUR FAMILY SAFE? Find out who really lives in your area!' - dedicated to exposing local rapists and child molesters.
The man has now been arrested in connection with Leiby's disappearance and death and witnesses suggested another man and woman were escorted from his home by police.
Leiby had been due to meet his mother soon after the summer camp he was attending but failed to show up.
Tragic: Half of the nine-year-old's remains were found in a dumpster in New York
Removed: Police officers tow away the dumpster, which is thought here to still contain Leiby Kletzy's remains
Community Rabbi Bernard Freilich told WNBC his parents are totally 'devastated' after having been informed that his body had been recovered.
Leiby disappeared after getting lost as he walked home alone. He was last seen on CCTV, walking behind a bearded man in a white shirt and dark trousers, who emerged from a dentist's office.
Employees at the dentist's gave officers the man's name and address and he was arrested 40 minutes later.
There is no reason to suspect the man previously knew Leiby, police said.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne told the Post: 'The boy is standing alone at some point. The male crosses the street in his direction and the boy follows him,' adding it was not known if they had exchanged words.
Another source told the Daily News: 'He [the suspect] has no excuse. He doesn't know why he did it.'
Assemblyman Dov Hikind today confirmed the body which had been found was that of the missing child.
His remains were discovered by officers inside a black garbage bag hidden in a red suitcase which was found in the bin.
'I've never seen a community feel more depression than they are at the moment,' he told NY1. 'Whoever did this is sick beyond belief.
Hikind said the suspected killer is Jewish.
'It’s just a horror for every parent,' he added, speaking to CBS. 'It’s just a tragedy today for everyone in New York.
'That this is possible, an innocent nine-year-old is walking the streets, and that there are human beings out there - at least we call them that - who would do this. There’s no reason for it, it’s just beyond horror.'
Loss: The orthodox Jewish community has been devastated by Leiby's abduction and death
Jacob Daskel, a coordinator with a local Borough Park Jewish patrol, said he is familiar with the suspect.
'He's a loner,' he told the Daily News. 'He lives with his parents.'
Leiby's parents began sitting shiva - the Jewish practise of mourning - today after having the devastating news confirmed by police.
'They're distraught,' community member Simcha Bernath said. Leiby's father, Nachman Kletzky, was comforted at his home yesterday by four rabbis while his wife rested for the first time since their son went missing, he added.

Hundreds of volunteers joined the hunt for the boy.
As well as offering help, people - some complete strangers to the family - have also stumped up $100,000 as a reward for information leading to the boy's whereabouts.
'It's quite amazing. Money is just coming in from people who just want to express their concern and want to do something,' Jacob Daskal, a member of the Shomrin volunteer civilian patrol, told the New York Post.
'The amount has grown on the part of business people throughout the community. We started out this morning with just $5,000,' he added.
'Volunteers have been out there all night searching backyards, front yards, anywhere where a child could possibly be,' said state Assemblyman Dov Hikinds.
'We’re hoping for a good outcome but this is becoming very scary,' he added.
Mr Daskal said the boy disappeared somewhere on the eight block walk to meet his mother. He was also caught on surveillance camera leaving the school.
He added: 'Because they had an appointment, they decided he could meet them.
'Everybody knew it was OK to walk by himself. But his regular routine was to go on the bus and go home.'
Speaking about the family, he said: 'They're distraught. They can't figure out what happened.'
Search: Police issued this poster throughout the area in an effort to find the missing child
Daskal added: 'Usually, these things are solved in a few hours.
'It might be an abduction, but we're still hoping it's not.'
Leiby, the second youngest of five children, was last seen wearing a blue shirt with green and white stripes, blue pants and black trainers.
Heartbroken friends and members of the Hasidic community offered the family their condolences.
Carrie Powell said: 'My deepest sympathies to the family of Leiby. An innocent taken, a son loved and now gone. I pray for strength for you during the hardest time in your lives. Bless your family. Bless Leiby for the years he was here on earth, a good boy, a good son.'
A woman named Cynthia added: 'Do not remember how he was taken, but how he lived his beautiful innocent life. We are all so very shocked and saddened. Our prayers for Leiby's family and all who love him and will miss him.'
