Is Atheism An Unalienable Right?

With a resurgence of new gun control debates, and the ever increasing arguments pertaining to constitutionality (2nd Amendment) versus legality, and particularly as it relates to the president’s so-called “Executive Orders” – one has to wonder; where exactly does ‘the want, will, and hopes of the people’ fit, into the grand scheme of things?
Its one thing (bad enough) when government legislature threatens, or infringes upon ones Constitutional Rights; namely the 2nd Amendment, and the right to “keep and bear arms” (inclusive of self-defense) – but what of your God (Creator) given Rights?
To be an American, is to hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness – The Declaration of Independence.

These ‘Creator’ given (unalienable) rights, as included by the founding fathers, have nothing to do with aliens wanting to take them away (we can hope).
The word ‘un-a-lien-able’, signifies that no claims (liens) are to be, or can be, placed upon these rights – because these rights were not of man – they were not issued through man made legislature, or laws – they were not handed down by some judge in a black dress, courts (not even the supreme ones) or politicians - they were not endowed, through an act of man, but through the Creator of man…God?
LIEN is defined as: a charge placed upon real or personal property, for the satisfaction of some debt, or duty, ordinarily arising by operation of law.
Remember; a government big enough to give you everything you want, is also big enough to take away everything you have - Davy Crockett (U.S. Congressman and, Tennessee representative.)
I suppose that if a person so desires, they can give up or exchange their unalienable rights, for something else - but why would they wish to do this?
Well; governments, which are usually registered corporations, right down to the presidents, vice presidents, secretaries and treasurers, and made up of men and women, or perhaps more appropriately; juristic persons, as per ancient Roman law – they take it upon themselves, to try and control every aspect of life with their ideals of protection, and safety, as opposed to self-defense - protection of ones self, and of ones private property.
This usually comes with a price however; it’s like the exchange of goods or services, for some monetary value, but in this example, you will have to surrender certain rights and freedoms - Life, Liberty and Happiness – for what the government does for you.
Perhaps the best description of this, might be some actual examples of what is currently being carried out, by Federal and some State government departments; like the TSA, the DHS, and of course, the Police - even the Military (Standing Armies) is involved as well.
The Posse Comitatus Act, is that which typically prevented the military (the Armed Forces of the United States) from being used as the ultimate form (heavily armed) of policing agency – to allow for this, is akin to having imperialistic and draconian powers (orders executive) - in essence, it renders any leader (President) a dictator - just the same as any other, recorded in the history books, or in any Third World country - where U.S. foreign policy, allows for continual military intervention, to implement so-called democratic style governance.
If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator - George W. Bush.

Over the past few decades, but more recently, and pervasively, I have noticed the obvious increase in influence to abolish the belief in God – not only in schools, but in many other places (public, and or government buildings) as well – I seeing a growing trend to avoid using words associated with God, or the word God itself - Merry Christmas being the ultimate example of this; it obviously pertains to the birth of Christ (Christianity) the son of God…the Creator being the father.
People, Christians included, are actually being coerced or programmed into the new protocol, to use more ‘politically correct’ terminology; like happy holidays and seasons greetings - perhaps it should be ‘happy shopping day’, or happy snow falling for the holidays day – how ridiculous can it get?
Remember when the Ten Commandments (basically good morals, that all should strive to follow) caused a big furor? – It had to be removed from a courthouse in Montana, and a lawsuit was pending by the American Civil Liberties Union, which contended the monument violated the principle of separation of church and state (just when it suits ‘them’?).
In a separate instance, another ruling was handed down by U.S. Senior District Judge Maurice Paul, after the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida sued (again) to have the monument removed; citing again that “it violates the separation of church and state, even though the monument was paid for, and maintained by, a private resident”.
I’m getting the distinct impression that the ACLU is against God (the Creator) and Christianity – are they then an atheistic (no God) Union racking up expenses for taxpayers?
Another example of the elimination of God from the American society was heralded by the Anti-Defamation League – they said; “having the Ten Commandments in schools, government buildings, courts and other public places, while often (sometimes not?) well intentioned, is bad policy, and often unconstitutional” – who are the members of these league and unions? Do they also, not believe in God? – Are they not Christians? – It seems pretty obvious to me, that the founding fathers believed in God (the Creator), and were Christian people – Are the members of the ACLU, and the ADL, also prepared to give up their God given Rights?
In stark contrast however; there is Roy Stewart Moore; former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, having been unanimously removed from his post by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary, for refusing to remove a monument of the Ten Commandments from the Alabama Judicial Building - despite orders to do so, from a federal judge.
Roy Stewart Moore carries a highlighted and annotated copy of the judge’s order, that removed him from the bench, and is pleased to engage. “There’s nothing illegal in what I did,” he said in a recent interview, after a campaign speech at a Birmingham country club. “Our money says ‘God’ on it. Our Pledge of Allegiance says ‘under God.” So tell me this: How can a chief justice not acknowledge the sovereignty of God?”
In keeping with the age-old premise, that there is a God, or Creator, and from whom ‘we the people’ were endowed with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness – one must wonder; what is the ulterior plan on the table? - Why is it being pushed by so many; the likes of the various leagues and unions et al; to have the (the Creator) God removed?
If the powers that be (who ever that is?) is allowed to move ahead with any success of these plans - continuing to forcefully encourage (law suits) the abandonment, and or removal of God from the American society, they will surely realize ‘their goal’ – That is; increasing the numbers of people, who have, and still are, to turn away from God - to become disillusioned (by their propaganda) with their hereditary religious (God) beliefs, for one reason or another – perhaps that of which, will be your ‘Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness’.
What we may expect to see happen, left unchecked, is a growth in these numbers of people, choosing ‘atheism’ - people opting to become non believers in God – their beliefs being; life can be better without a God – that the Creator does not exist, either by personal choice, or trend - but perhaps more so by influence, as in that of peer pressure...history shows it can surely be accomplished through propaganda, using the right marketing or programming skills.
If one chooses to disbelieve, and abandon the God principle, is one also willing to disbelieve, and abandon their “Unalienable Rights”?
